I guess I am one of the few guys that actually bought into Selig's creation but I am excited to see this in the upcoming days. Anyone else find this entertaining or is it the equivilant of "hyped-up" preseason baseball to yall?

Now, to go all "OE" on you,

Thoughts?

I really enjoy it, but I hate that so many are still "recovering" from offseason surgeries. Would like to see this event with a full field.

I remember looking forward to it a few years ago, but I really couldn't care less about it this year.

I'm just not quite ready to switch over to baseball mode, much less the WBC.

I do not like Mr. BS but his idea for the WBC was a good one. I would like to see USA do good.....even win it this year. If the USA is successful then popularity will increase.

Orestes Destrada is so much easier to listen to than Joe Morgan. I got disgusted with Morgan when he couldn't stop praising Fidel Castro when the wBC was in Cuba.

S. Korea really put a whipping on Chinese Taipei, they have some great fans to.

Orestes is ok, he's killing me tho. He acts like he is Mr. International Baseball and he breaks down everything, I mean he was breaking down the difference between the old style catcher mask vs. the new hockey style mask just because his broadcast partner Jon Scambi (aka Boo) noted that the catcher caught a pop foul without taking of his mask off

DeRosa finds the gap and scores Youkie from 3rd and Dunn motors all the way from first. USA up 2-1

USA up big in the 8th, but there is some more important news for all you bravo fans:

Chipper, aka Larry, left the game with what they are calling a minor oblique strain.

I could not believe that those guys, with only 2 MLB'ers beat that All Star team the DR had.
