Worley after Four Games

I couldn't be happier for the kid. I think Dooley throwing him into the fire killed his confidence but deep down he's always been a great player. Glad it's finally showing.

He's the best QB in the sec east.

Sucks that Dooley burned his redshirt. Having him next season would have made us contenders no doubt. We still most likely will be but anytime you have unknowns at the QB position its wise to be nervous.

Exactly. I have faith in Butch in company to build up one of the kids we have on the sidelines now but Worley is absolutely lights out. Some of the passes he has made the past two games under intense pressure just straight up impress me.

Remember how fans treated Casey up until we started going down hill?

Don't even get me started on that lol. My post history has me on record as to what I thought of that situation.

As an aside, how many body parts would most of us give in order for us to have another UT QB who could say, "Yeah, I went 15-1 as a starter in SEC road games."

Honestly, I think next year we're a QB away from the SEC East crown. Can Peterman/Dobbs/Dormady/Jennings step up and fill that role?

No doubt in my mind he gets us back to a Bowl this year.

It will be very exciting to watch Worley finish out his career. Don't give up on team 118 just yet!

In all seriousness I think we should do more of that stuff. Maybe we will as he continues to gain experience.

Yep. I liked Hurd from the "WildVol" and I loved the double reverse too. Those crazy plays are fun and keep the defense guessing. They are one of the reasons that Oregon's offense puts up such big numbers.

Now that we have both tight ends back, I would also love to see more double tight end sets to provide additional blocking support for our offensive line. Continued incorporation of them into our passing attack, as we did vs. Georgia, and use of quick slant routes to our big wide receivers and tight ends could help us to exploit opposing defenses in ways that we have not done thus far and help to keep Justin upright.

Could be these coaches are capable of developing players, getting the most out of a player. Worley will get it done.

Worley is proving to be a good QB who sometimes makes disastrous mistakes, but who can straight drive down the field.

My primary worry is that our O-line is going to get him killed. Maybe not literally killed, but the kid is only 4 games into the season and already looks like hes been through a war.

If the o-line can somehow man up and keep Worley from getting injured, we can beat Florida and win a few more games.

Worley is lucky to be alive after Oklahoma and Georgia and if he stays healthy the Vols go bowling!

PS; Worley is one tough kid, I'm very proud of his resilience and winning attitude
