Did he tie his tie too short? Or is it me........?

It's just right for a business setting. If you're going to a dinner engagement or something similar, a loser knot and longer tie is ok. As long as it doesn't hang below the belt.

he still has to take classes

if he already has a degree can he take easy classes like gardening 101. Or does he have to purse a masters? B/c for a smart kid like worley it'll be no problem for him to put in 3 hours of studying a week and have A's in easy classes.

It is just you. Not everyone tucks the tie into their pants to absorb any incidental leakage.

However, as always, the windsor knot does not look good to me. It just looks lop sided. I have my own knot that avoids that. I need to start sharing it.

Was told by someone in the business world who supposedly knows that the tip of the tie should be 1" below the belt buckle....
