As great as their numbers were, Im not sure I can say the same. I agree that you dont have to be wanted by the nfl to be successful in college, so that arguement is done with.
However,
Timmy Chang: dont know who that is.
Colt Brennan: played in a crap conference. see what uga did to them when they played(and we all know how "good" uga's defense is. :))
G. Harrell: Played in a super pass friendly offense against big 12 defenses.

Timmy Chang was the QB from Hawaii a few years back that threw like 900 yards a game.....

As for Colt Brennan and Graham Herrell......I definitely would take either one right now. At the very least they would be strong competition for Simms right now.

But no, they wouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as the second tier SEC elite QBs like Heath Shuler....for example.

I have no idea what this means.

Are you trying to compare Colt Brennan to Joe Montana?

Seriously, you don't even have a clue what this means? Really? Ok, Colt Brenna was a stud in college and it was not completely his fault in the GA game. The Georgia D was basically running straight at him all game without even an OL trying to stop them. NO I am not calling him Joe Montana. Montana is in the top 3 of all time. But if you knew nearly as much about football as you constantly act like you do you'd know the knock against Montana coming out of ND was his arm stength. He rated out at a 6 1/2 at the combine. This is why he went 3rd round. But I'm sure you know that already, right? You know Montana was a 3rd round draft pick. So yeah there are some similarities. Both were great in college and both got overlooked in the draft. We may never know if Colt is a NFL quality QB because he's backing up McNabb now but when he has played he has performed at top level. The stats have shown this. So I compared Colt to another late round pick up (Montana) who also supposedly had a "wet noodle" who also did great in college. Is it clear enough for you now?

That's good and all but "Supposedly, so didn't" is still giving me trouble.

Brennan wasn't a "stud". He threw the ball 40 times a game. That's an easy way to rack up stats.

So a Colorado reject equals a Notre Dame great and NFL HOFer?

Got it.

Never said it equaled. You're putting words in my mouth now. I said so didn't Joe Montana. I can not compare Colt to Montana on a NFL level. No stats to back it up. But I can back up with stats that they basically did the same thing in college, yes difference conferences, and both supposedly have weak arms and both went late. Montana did go late. I personally have no clue how Colt would do in the NFL. He did great in Pre-season but that is pre-season.

So Justin last me ask you a question since you threw out Colt's conference vs Montana's. You're a GM. You can either pick a Heisman winning QB from the Pac-10 who won a National Championship or you can pick the Gateway Conference's Offensive Player of the year to play QB for your team ... who do you pick?

Timmy Chang disagrees.

Colt Brennan wishes NFL GMs thought like you.

Graham Harrell wishes this were true

 UMHHHH......Those guys were all really good college QBs. I dont give a rats ace really about their pro ability as long as they produce here. Heath Shuler, remember him? Great Vol. Pro echhh.. would love to have another one of him.
