I agree that it's a a little too thick; I suppose my point is Malkovich is usually entertaining to watch. Cage - not so much.

Katie Holmes, in general, is not a good actress IMO. But in Batman Begins, she had chemistry with Bale. Maggie just didn't seem to have it to me.

Sort of like Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher, another miscast. Reacher is supposed to be a big, ugly guy. Not some handsome midget.

Got 'em out of order, but this exactly. After reading every Reacher book that's been out, this is quite possibly the worst miscast of all time. I've always thought that:

would have been perfect for the role of Reacher. Not that dwarf that jumps on couches.
