You expected a movie based on a bad book and aimed primarily at the lowest common denominator within a particular political movement, with a cast of second rate actors who would probably be lucky to be cast as extras by any director worth his salt, to be good?

Even Peter Travers hated it, and he likes everything.

Taking Ethics this semester and went to see it for extra credit (we're reading it for class).

I think it's an interesting story, but it was just horrible.

And the lowest common denominator comment was spot on. The people in the audience were hilarious.
