Spurriers first win against TN as a coach. I would not call the 1988 Duke team a bad team. They went 7-3

And won he ACC in 1989.

2)Wyoming 2008

I was at the Memphis game. Although ugly, that defense sent several to the NFL.

The worst has to be Kensucky in 2011 - and them with a WR at QB no less.

Those Memphis teams in the late 80's and 90's had some darn good defenses. They had defenses ranked in the top 10 in the country. They just had trouble scoring themselves.

In 1995, I went to the Memphis-Michigan game at the Big House, and Michigan won 24-7 in an ungly game. Memphis won 3 games that year, and Michigan will probably never invite them back.
