Worst Vols team in History?

I think so.

I would take last year's team coached under Butch well before I would take this years. I can't remember a team that has an inability to do absolutely anything in the passing game over the course of 5 games. Thank God we have at least a serviceable running game, but that doesn't mean much when every talented team from here on out stacks the box knowing there isn't a chance in hell we complete some passes.

Don't know about all that. But I am embarrassed about this shjt today. I'm really pissed at Worley. He's really a bad QB for Tennessee.

How bad would we be if Dooley hasn't been fired? It's very obvious none of these players were being progressively coached. Dooley ran this program into the ground way harder than Kiffin ever thought about doing.

Worley isn't an SEC QB...we lost 2 WR's and a TE to the draft and are starting a RS freshman and two true freshmen at WR...so naw sh!t you would take last years team...

I think it's the worst UT team during a time when every other team in the SEC is at its best. Look around the conference. Almost every team except UK or has experienced a very high point in their program in recent years.

You guys suck. Worley couldn't execute **** in the third and forth quarter so our defense couldn't stay off the field. Thanks for ruining the only good vols message board year in and year out. Peace haters. I'm going to support my team no matter what. Enjoy jumping off that cliff

This team is worse than last year's team from what they've shown so far.

In 40 years I've never seen worse.

To be expected though, but damn it hurts.

Given that the Defense appears to be coached by Sal Sunseri again, and the offense is anemic, I'd say yes.

I don't know about that, but Just when I thought a UT QB couldn't be worse than Crompton or Simms, Worley turns out to be a real one upper.

I'd rather us take our lumps letting a freshman come in and develop than to suck anyway because we are too scared to.

I think the current players are just so beaten down and tired of having to learn new system after new system that they've lost any competitive edge they once had. Bad leadership, a non existent senior class, new coaching staff that can't figure out how to motivate these guys, and really just a lack of overall talented football players has led us to this point.
