Do you think Coach Heupel would hire Scott Frost for Tennessee offensive coordinator if Alex Golesh gets hired by another school as head coach in December leaving after the Bowl? I think Scott Frost would be an interesting replacement for Alex Golesh.

Based on what’s come out around Frost’s firing in Nebraska, I hope we wouldn’t touch him with a 10 foot pole.

Agree. Apparently he’s had some issues with alcohol. Hopefully it’s not a problem but the rumors being late to practice, etc are true. I would stay away from him and pony up the cash for Golesh to make his decision more difficult if he receives an offer.

Golesh would be smart to continue to build on what he has in Knoxville until a top-tier program wants to hire him for HC. I’ve never understood the acceptance of lower-tier jobs unless they just feel they have no more potential to grow and/or know they can’t get the big-time position. If Wisconsin, Nebraska, Auburn, or some program like that wants Golesh, he’d be wise to jump, but some G5 team? No way.

NO

Frost is CANCER

This program needs him no where around.

Years ago I figured he would be great. He isn’t and since, there have been many accounts of him, staff, players, and recruits not getting along…….accounts of him actually running folks off. His teams died on him……much like they did Pruitt……..don’t want that near something…..ANYTHING good (and Tennessee is very good right now).
