Barack Obama actively campaigned against Michael Steele, telling a church congregation to not be fooled by the fact that Steele was an African American. Barack also supported the white democratic candidate over Kwesi Mfume.

Then, Barack travels to TN to implore voters to elect Harold Ford, Jr. to the senate because, to paraphrase, "it's lonely being the only African American in the Senate."

Now, I know that Obama wants democrats elected, but to tell voters in Maryland to not vote based on race, while asking for TN voters to consider race is douchebaggery, plain and simple.

I would call call it douchebagative. Does that mean Emain would call it Douchebagtastic?

We should probably move toward a douchbag metric system, with doubs as the base measure.

I propose:

Millidoub = 1/1000th of a douchebag
Centidoub = 1/100th of a douchebag
Decidoub = 1/10th of a douchebag
Doub = standard douchebag
Decadoub = 10 douchebags
Hectadoub = 100 douchebags
Kilodoub = 1,000 douchebags

I'll leave examples for each level up to the crowd, but would like to offer up Gore as the Kilodoub for a decent reference point.

Nay. It is our duty as Americans to measure douchebaggedness in 4ths, 8ths, 16ths, and 32nds, with the occasional 12th and 14th thrown in from a sense of patriotic pride. Leave that 3 db x 10 to the 14th stuff for the French.

I would vote for Zell Miller and probably Sam Nunn before I would vote for McCain.

It depends on the issues. If a candidate supports abortion or gay rights I couldn't vote for them.
