Beg to differ.Dobbie, as a QB, is a freelancer. There were/are a few such QBs in the NFL.

Michael Vick, Randall Cunningham Sr., Steve Mcnair, Brett Favre, Cam Newton, Lamar Jackson. James Winston, Fran Tarkenton, Roger Staubach, and Deshawn Watson, to name a few. They weren't as cerebral as they were either gunslingers or on the fly players. On the fly players often (not always) are great scramblers, which can free up WRs because nobody really knows what the heil the play is at that point, certainly not the defenders. So they can hit an open guy due to that chaos. Now, a cerebral QB is somebody like Aaron Rogers and Tom Brady, you probably could add Bart Starr. Dobbs is a freelancer (on the fly) QB. Consequently, I don't think he'd make a good QB coach. Besides that, he has a better option as an aerospace engineer.

You won't see Dobbs coaching. Nor will Rockytop Texas see Dobbs on Mars. My cracked crystal ball and my dog both assured me of this. They agreed that Dobbs, considers a Mars trip a one way, poorly planned, and doomed colonization experiment. So, instead, he will be the CEO of the joint USA-German-Britain-Japanese lunar station. Their primary job to mine the largest craters for water ice, which will supply the staff and stop over rocket ships with water and hydrogen for fuel. Plus collect the unique crystals on the lunar surface to be shipped to Earth. The crystals which have extraordinary fusion generation properties to end our dependence on all fossil fuels, except for lubrication, and medical usage. I trust the ball and the dog.

To me the more meaningful moment was when Sterling "The Pearl" Henton stood at center court with his arm around Josh Dobbs' shoulder. The crowd went bonkers!

Two Vol quarterbacks from different eras but both of them represent their university very well.
