I totally agree. Bama is still a great team. But the perception is they are down when in reality they are two last second plays and 4 points away from being undefeated and Gary Danielson four hours away from seeking medical attention.

I don't care if either of these teams come backs and wins, because both TCU and MI are playing non ranked teams and are struggling, struggling, struggling! All we need to do in Columbia tonight is WIN convincingly and we have to move into the top 4.

No so sure…while I don’t think TCU looked good, they won a rivalry game on the road so I doubt they drop from #4 This week. If they win out they’re in IMO. Michigan played at home and wasn’t very impressive. I just don’t see them beating OSU at OSU and their schedule is weaker than TCU‘s IMO so I think if we take care of business we are in good position to slip into the top 4 after next weekend. Of course some things are out of our control - I’m hoping UCLA beats USC tonight but should USC run the table they might get the nod over us…all we can do is play our best game tonight and win. Tonight is about making USC reall, really regret not trying to sign Hyatt. GBO

This should move us to the 3 spot. TCU would be at two assuming that they don’t lose. This would be pretty ideal. We would likely win that game and play uga in the playoff final.

AGREED! Both Baylor and Illinois Offensive Coordinators should be fired tomorrow morning for gross incompetence. Both teams needed a first down to win the game. Both teams decided to run up the middle and make no legitimate effort to really get the first “down - giving the ball back to TCU/MI with too much time left. They played too conservative and ”not to lose” and bigger than life, lost just like we all knew they would - you could see it coming a mile away. This is why you can NEVER count on someone else to do something on your behalf - they screw it up every time. That said - TCU is not better than UT - Michigan is not better than UT - and right now tOSU doesn’t look better than TN. Nevertheless, Tuesday night we will likely still be #5 because MI and IL have two world class stooges for OCs. Go Big Damn Orange - we better hang 70+ on SC tonight just to keep up….

Our %s decreased since TCU won. They will will decrease even more if USC beats a top 20 UCLA team tonight.

I love TN but they won’t get in unless USC loses to UCLA, Irish, or Big 12 title game OR TCU loses to Kansas St. I don’t see either happening but hope I’m wrong.

One more thing that needs to happen...we gotta win and that's never a sure thing. Hope all this confidence is limited to the fans and the team is taking USC seriously. I've seen the term "choke" applied to Baylor. Hope it's not applied to us after tonight.
