Smart move. They need something to distract people from the atrocious product they are going to put on the floor this season.

Why is that the case hat, not a CBB fan/follower by any means, other than a passing interest in what's on TV, but with all the AAU/Sneaker ties/whatnot talk, one would figure Oregon would be a landing place for rental players, no?

They're in transition. Altman didn't have time to bolster the roster after he was hired and Kent left the personnel situation in shambles.

Thanks...I see folks mention location now and again, but Storrs isn't exactly SoHo, yet UC doesn't seem to have problems with that, so I was wondering, that's all.

Knight also takes great pains to make sure Nike isn't seen as steering guys to Oregon. They don't want to get the 'AA looking at people's amateur status and it would not be good business to piss off all the other schools that wear the swoosh.

Are you blind, or just slow? It's obviously Π-A-Π (Pi-A-Pi). Where do you get TWAT from ΠAΠ? Do you know what Pi is?

(It's supposed to represent Matt, Phil Knight's son, for whom the Arena is named after).

I actually kinda like it... The new arena is great too.

Hat's right, good to have this other stuff since their team, and Pac-10 ball in general, is going to suck this year.

It's not like you paint the damn trees green, or any other color than brown for that matter.

I think it's alright. I'll take a look at it in person next time I'm in a party in Eugene or whatever.
