WR Drops easy fix...

Our WRs were noticeably better when he started coaching them.

He started coaching the wideouts in the '06 season which is when Cut came back as the OC. I'm sorry, but our WR production was due to Coach Cut and his play calling as opposed to Trooper, who continually keeps getting passed over for coordinator jobs and should probably have a show cause in his near future.

Guess Coach Cut was the reason for the dual 1k rushers we had when Troop coached RBs too? Look, Troop is a really good position coach. It's okay if you don't like him. But to question him as a position coach makes you look butthurt and dishonest. The positions he coached here got better....PERIOD! Even when Randy Sanders was the OC.

Why would I be butthurt about Trooper Taylor? You are right that you and I don't share the same opinion of him. Cedric Houston and Riggs were good backs and I'm not saying he can't coach a position. I just find him to be more style than substance.

Butthurt might have been a bit much, bad choice of words. Nothing wrong with agreeing to disagree. Buck Fama! And the rest should sort itself out. Be easy bro.

Lol, this is without a doubt the fail of the day. Bricks do in FACT help. It gives the WR "soft hands". By "soft hands" I don't mean silky smooth like lotion does. I mean soft hands in how they catch the ball. It also helps them concentration and anticipation.

Actually catching tennis balls would be better for soft hands than bricks. Used this technique in hockey to teach a soft stick.

Bet they would break the habbit of catching them with their body...

Couldn't imagine catching a brick in the stomach, even though I have some extra padding down there now....

A lot of people do use bricks, tennis balls, and golf balls. Bricks will teach them not to have their hands and arms so stiff while trying to catch a football. And tennis and golf balls for hand-eye coordination. Plus the OP doesn't mean to have to WR's run a go route and throw bricks at them but have them stand 3 or 4 yards apart and toss them to one another.

As long as Justin Hunter is not involved in the coaching part. He'd bring beach balls to camp.(sorry, could'nt resist)
