Look at Ambles' shuttle time. It's ridiculous. You won't find another WR at his size even come close to that shuttle time. 40 times just don't mean much. Quickness and great route running is what makes WRs good imo. Ambles will be a great WR at UT...

We would've scored easy in the redzone with these receivers. Ambles or Milton would have gotten some fade routes easy on the smallish UCLA corners.

Didn't someone say Ambles' 40-time isn't even that accurate?

I wouldn't worry, I think at least Ambles is going to be a very good UT receiver.

4.28 is pretty solid. idk about not being able to find other players his size that can do that though?

They probably would have been open but i wouldnt have gotten my hopes up on Crompton being able to deliver them the ball. I mean he over threw a WIDE OPEN Gerald Jones running down the middle of the field.

I wouldn't be surprised if Meline gets moved to corner. He said he prefers playing defense. Maybe even Teague? Monte originally wanted him on defense.

Yea anyone who doesnt think hes going to be a stud hasnt seen his tapes. He vanished in some of the earlier camps this summer but after he committed to UT his last camp he was on a different level.

Ferrell I believe thinks hes the #1 player in the country period.

He has been good with the offense but with all of the incoming wide receivers, I wouldn't rule it out. I think someone could fill the slot role easier than corner. Sounded like Monte really wanted him on defense. I don't know he'll be moved to defense but someone is going to between him, Cobbs and Meline if this class stays in tact come signing day.

Nu'keese, Teague, Rogers, Ambles, Milton, Meline, Cobbs..... 7 wide receivers in the past 2 classes. Someone will be moved to DB.

Next season the bulk will probably go to Moore / Teague / Ambles / Warren. Meline could easily get moved to defense since he is open to it. I think Jones ends up a casualty in all of this. He is not explosive, never was fast and has ok hands.

Cobbs and Milton could end up being red shirts but who knows how they show up.

All that matters is there is a TON of competition now and its either going to be put up or shut up because this staff is not like the old, they will play the best period.

no way they redshirt miltons size alone will get pt,cobbs is a return threat from day 1
