Things go in cycles, things will change eventually. We are gaining. It doesn’t happen overnight it takes hard work. But Georgia will not be a juggernaut forever, nor Ohio St. Even with all the talent OSU slept walked in a few games and the Michigan got them and it woke them up. My point is even the OSU and Georgia still have moments where they have slipped. So never say never or not feasible. It is attainable if we commit to it. GBO

Out recruit them. Start putting kids in the league, have the best NIL program in the country. Have the best recruiting staff in the country. Get over the hump and make some noise in the program. It won’t be easy, of course it won’t. UGA and OSU both have rock hard foundations for 20 years +. It won’t happen over here night, we’ve itched closer and closer. But everyone is going to have to want to be elite again, it takes everybody from the AD, Spyre, big boosters. I think we have a lot good going on. The in state talent excise is bogus, there’s a ton of elite talent within a 4 hour radius of Knoxville and we have the brand to recruit nationally regardless.

From the scouting report both have excellent speed. Both ran track in high school.

Ohio State is always a tough sell because they have been dominant in the B1G since I have started watching Football but Georgia is another story. Georgia wasn't seen as that elite of a program prior to Kirby Smart and, to lesser degree, Mark Richt era. We out recruited Georgia all the time prior to 2010.

I’m just glad UGA has Bobo. I do not think very highly of them. If they had a good coordinator we would all be playing for second. The in-state recruiting is too good and when we fell off Clemson ransacked them to a NC and then Smart came and took the state back and won a championship.

We can, it just doesn't happen overnight. The program has been down for far too long. Put together consistent playoff caliber teams and recruiting will continue to improve. We're already hot in the 2026 class. We add Keys and we'll have 2 top 10 overall recruits.

Truthfully McElroy made a great point the other day. Recruiting classes become less and less important because of all the transfers. Not saying it's not important, because it is. But having a top 3 class has become less important than it used to be. We don't have to out recruit them. The transfer portal is what's putting Ohio St over the top.

Out of the 7 transfers they took last cycle, 4 of them played meaningful snaps and were contributors this year: Howard, Judkins, Downs, McLaughlin.
