In your worldview, there is not a single example of something that wasn't designed. So how can you say for certain what a randomly generated system or object would look like? There's not such thing as random, because even that was designed!

But that's for another thread, I guess.

You blame Republicans on this one yet refuse to accept the possibility that the WH did anything wrong?

Par for the course.

I think the White House began minimizing things once the public turned against them and started blaming them for the unfolding disaster. What's funny is it really wasn't "their fault" it happened and the worst thing they did was continuously stand in the way of more action, but they look guilty as hell now for trying to downplay it.

I don't think anyone within the administration conciously blocked estimates for the leak because the higher the numbers the more ammunition they had to go after it.

From what you read in these articles, it appears that the numbers were released, just not right away. Has all the markings of some sort of bureacratic issue as opposed to a political one.

Still waiting for someone to come up with a feasible political reason that the administration would have for dumbing down the threat. Makes no sense.

haliburton had NOTHING to do with the oil spill.

Haliburton may have not been the cause of the spill, but an all caps NOTHING seems to be a bit strong considering the cement job they poured has been one of the factors in question (fault is another issue because Trans-Ocean/BP accepted the pour, I'm just talking about who's involved in the spill).

As I have said, it makes perfect sense, given the political landscape of the crisis at the time. You're fooling yourself or you don't remember if you think that it's out of the question.

Right after you show the proof the DeMint did something underhanded to protect Haliburton.
