Been looking forward to this game since it was announced. Has a Teacher against Student feel as Kennedy coached under Huggins at UC.

9pm on SS in Atlanta.

Will probably be a better game than UNC-MSU I can tell you that.

Two of my favorite people in all the hoops universe. I'll see Andy on Saturday when I cover the Ole Miss-UNO game. It'll be interesting to see how his team is handling all of its injuries. Tonight is the kind of win the SEC needs to stop the nonconference bleeding.

That was a great basketball game. Can't wait for the rematch next year in Morgantown.

It should be a good one Hat. Next time I would like to see Ole Miss running at 100% so they could grab more rebounds, that hurt them some tonight. Congrats to both teams tonight, they both played a good game.

I might have to head back to one of my ancestral homelands and catch that one in person.

If Andy Kennedy can ever catch a break with injuries and other issues Ole Miss will be brought back to national prominence. As is, they may contend in the West with LSU this season. Polynice hurts, but Warren is an incredible player and David Huertas may be the best in the SEC no one has heard about.

Terrico White should end up doing some good things for this team as he learns the game at this level.

The SEC is all about Smith, Meeks, Calethas, Downey, and even names such as Oglivy and Varnado, and Steele come before you hear anything about him.

I honestly hope Jodie Meeks does not win SEC POY. The kid shoots literally like 50 shots per game... he's a ball hog and turns it over a lot too since he has it so much.

He's a great player and a great scorer - but several players in the SEC would be putting up much more efficient and eye popping numbers if they shot as many times as he did.

Meeks is a bit of a ball hog, but when no one else on your team is capable of scoring double figures except for one other, you have to take it upon yourself to take over games. I'm also glad Kentucky got their wish with Miller over Hopson.

I hope the SEC does adopt that standard. That way, they can strip the most overrated basketball player ever, Pete Maravich, of any accolades he received at LSU.
