I hope the SEC does adopt that standard. That way, they can strip the most overrated basketball player ever, Pete Maravich, of any accolades he received at LSU.

Not the same situation. Maravich also set the assists record I think, at LSU atleast, not sure about the SEC.

I couldn't find Maravich's TO ratio but Meeks is very sloppy. Meeks is good, but at some point he's hurting his team. He has about 5 turnovers per game at this point and a bad assist to TO ratio. Atleast he's shooting a pretty decent % though at 44%.

I just think they'd be a lot better off feeding Patterson more - who's making everything he throws up near the basket this year instead of Meeks risking a turnover. Its scary looking at the shot disparity after those two. Meeks has some where around around 120 FGA and PP has 67 or so... the next closest is 35.

It's far easier for a defense to keep Patterson from getting shots than it is to deny a wing. The real option is Meeks taking those shots instead of the Michael Porters of the world. I'd take Meeks.

Why is Porter still playing? Marc Maggard was over here awhile ago hyping Galloway saying he could play point alongside Liggins and he'd be buried on the bench.

As I stated when he was signed, anyone who saw Galloway at USC knew full well he can't play the point. Liggins still has moments when he acts like he's five years old. If he gets past that, he'll take the vast majority of Porter's minutes.
