My Royal Rumble predictions:

Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Intercontinental Title:
–Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose (c)

Winner: Kevin Owens. This will be the show stealing match. This has been a really good feud that I think will end with Owens getting the IC belt back.

WWE United States Title Match:
–Kalisto vs. Alberto Del Rio (c)

Winner: Kalisto. I just think that Del Rio isn't doing anything for the US title. I really like Kalisto, and I'm interested in seeing what happens next with him as the US champ.

WWE Divas Title Match:
-Charlotte (c) vs. Becky Lynch

Winner: Becky Lynch. I think Ric Flair will accidentally cost his daughter the match. What happened on Raw last Monday between Charlotte and Ric led me to this thinking.

WWE Tag Team Title Match:
-The New Day (c’s) vs. The Usos

Winner: The New Day. These guys are still the hottest tag team in the division, and there's nothing that tells me that they should lose the belts to the USOs, who haven't had much momentum since their return.

Royal Rumble Match:

This is the hardest match for me to pick. I know that most think either Reigns, HHH, or Lesnar will win, but I think that they may shake things up. My pick is Bray Wyatt. I'm very interested in seeing him with the WWEWHC title. I could be wrong, but I have this feeling that he will win. As for Reigns, I think that he will be eliminated by a returning HHH, and they will have a match at WM without the title. As a Reigns fan, I don't want to see him retain. I want to see him booked like he was at the end of TLC, which they have gone away from.

Tag Titles: USO crazy

Royal Rumble: Reigns enters #1, Cena enters #2 in a surprise move, eliminates Reigns. In an unprecedented turn, the rest of the 28 enter and nobody is eliminated. In an even more unprecedented turn, Reigns comes out, and in a superman move, flips the ring over, eliminating all 29 other guys to retain the WWE title. Cole and JBL say Reigns is the greatest superstar of all time. Afterwards, on the DubyaDubyaE Network (hashtag 9 99), men come and take away Vincent Kennedy McMahon in a straight jacket.

I can see seven different options happening.

I could see Reigns setting every record, win the Rumble, and we all just shake our heads.

I could see HHH coming in at #30, getting Reings out, and winning himself. "I win".

I could see A.J. Styles coming in, gets help from the authority, and becomes the authority's new champion.

I could see complete Wyatt domination, with Bray setting up his throne from the bones of his opponents.

I could see HHH entering at #29, eliminating Reings, everybody thinking HHH is going to win, then "Flight of the Valkyrie" play as Bryan reclaims the title he never lost.

I could see Cena miraculously returning and winning, setting up Reigns/Cena for the WM ME.

I could see Brock Lesnar just destroying everyone and winning the Rumble, setting him up as the the most dominant superstar ever.

No ****ing clue.

That's the best part about this year's RR match. Unlike last year, we have no idea what is going to happen.

There's no way Cena, even Super Cena can return from that surgery this soon

I think Cesaro might be ready soon though.

The AJ Styles thing seems to work, but HHH vs Reigns has been rumored since Rollins went down.

What if Bryan comes back as a bad guy and helps the Authority? Kind of a only way he could come back was to work for the Authority type thing?

How about it comes down to Kane and Big Show?

Honestly though, I think Lesnar wins.

The fact that I have no f'in clue what is going to happen hasmethiscloserenewingmywwesubscription. I mean, it's only 9.99.

Also, let me ONCE AGAIN, clarify on being an IC guy:

Guys like Michaels, Warrior, etc made great Intercontintental Champs that could main event any given night, any PPV. They weren't fun World Heavyweight Champs though. I am a proponent, as I've always been, of making the IC belt that relevant again. They are really close to it right now. I'd hate to see them devalue it again just by shoving more people into the mix for the HW crown.

Also, I don't know the purpose of the Kalisto/Del Rio rivalry. It adds nothing to the US Title respect, and Kalisto won't win because Sin Cara's injury isn't supposed to last that long. I mean Kalisto might win it just to lose at Fastlane, but then they have to rush a storyline for the US belt heading into Mania. Makes no sense to me. I'm guessing Del Rio wins in some fashion and gets pummeled by someone making a move for the belt.

Nah just basing it off the WWE booking pattern of look bad on RAW, win on PPV. Except for the Rumble. I'm just basing that off the WWE booking pattern of Vince is insane.

To me, Bryan is an IC guy too, not a WHC. That and his fans are my biggest thing against him. Id like to see him return and be successful, but not TOO successful.

I agree with that. He's an IC guy for sure. However, I'm fine with extreme success for him a la Shawn Michaels. I have nothing against him or his fans. Only superstar I never cared for was once Punk got so smug. It was ridiculous. He wasn't as good as he thought he was.

Nexus/Core/SES Punk were fun though.

Daniel Bryan is main event guy because you know what? He got over. More over than anyone in a long ass time. That's honestly should be a major factor in the argument "is he a main event talent?" The fans said YES. So he is. I think its simple.

Yeah, Zack Ryder got over too, but no way should he be a WHC guy.

I mean, I get what Bill is saying, but in today's age, with 12 PPV's and five hours of television per week, you got to have a bigger list of guys that can win it.

However, I think WWE has done a great job of limiting guy to have the belt. Since the November of 2011:

Orton

Reigns
Sheamus
Reigns

Nine guys in 4+ years. With Sheamus just having a one month reign. That's a pretty job of making it prestigious.

Bryan is boring on the mic when he's serious, but he's a first class work rate and he's over. That's main event too me. JMO.

No. Y'all are still missing the point. The IC belt can and has been a main event match. A main event PPV. But HW belt guys are different. I don't think Ambrose, Ziggler, Owens, Barrett or Bryan are HW guys.

Not necessarily true. For all his faults, Vince put major emphasis on the IC belt early in his career and it certainly seems like they are going that way again. They even did it with US belt, but this version of Del Rio is just boring. A similar version of the wealthy, arrogant version of Del Rio would help. Maybe. I dunno. It just seems like he's gotten stale.
