I don't know if the post TLC RAW was necessarily correct booking for Reigns (although that may have been the best he's ever been presented), but more about WWE cramming what would have been typically a months worth of story into one night. That night and this past week with Shane's return are probably the best episodes of RAW in the past year.

Because of that, I don't think they should rush and decrease the number of PPVs yet. Creative struggles to give decent angles from month to month, and now they're thinking about making the gap between PPVs larger? The creative department at WWE needs a serious overhaul in how they build feuds, then once the stories get better they can decrease to like 9 or 10 PPVs.

If they do decrease the amount of PPVs I really hope they get rid of the gimmick ones. Having the Extreme Rules show right after Mania, when the feud is still new, really doesn't feel right.

That's the point of fewer ppvs. More time to build and strengthen feuds

I just see it as a catch 22. With the current state of WWE's storytelling, adding more time between PPVs just means we'll just have 6-8 straight weeks of the Lucha Dragons and two other babyfaces teamed up to face the LoN instead of 4 weeks. I'm all for fewer PPVs but I just don't see that change solving the problem of how generic so many feuds feel.

It's almost impossible to build up good feuds in a matter of weeks. Go back to the original plan: Babyface fighter loses a match because Heel fighter interfered. Babyface fighter calls heel out. Heel does nothing. Heel interferes in another match. babyface comes out and interferes, get a tag team match. Then a singles match on PPV 1. Then you can build it for a PPV two months down the road. Then the payoff match the following month.

Also, I'm still less than thrilled with the idea of Taker working with the Authority.

I'm ok with him going out a heel of some sort, but not as a taking orders from Vince type heel.

So just had a customer leave the store... her last name was Rowan. But the card she paid with had the last name Wyatt.

Clearly I'm about to be abducted for three months and it seem really awesome at first only to have it flounder with no change for three more months and end very poorly right?

Would you prefer them make the champ do both shows or have two world titles again? I wouldn't mind a second world title again, as long as the WWE title isn't clearly more important. They need to make both of the equally important.

I would prefer just the one title. Having multiple world titles for all those years created this huge list of guys that probably shouldn't have multiple world titles but really do. The champ could probably do both shows in the week. He just has to be there, maybe cut a promo or interfere in a match not actually wrestle. Having the champ wrestle just squash matches once a week should allow more tv time to build up other stars.

First show since 1994 VBCC in Huntsville which was Flair vs Hart.

About 15 rows from floor. I decided last minute knowing the way the product is trending and with Taker being here. Might be last good shot to go.

Good points. Although, I always thought two world titles gave more guya that deserved world titles chances. Like, Mark Henry, Ziggler, Christian, CM Punk (before WWE made him a top star). I mean honestly the only reign that should of never happened imo was Swagger probably. Well The Del Rio and Sheamus Reigns were suspect to me as well. So it can go both ways. I know a lot of people don't think Ziggler or maybe Christain was world title material anyways.

Ultimately I would be down with either.

Yeah they could make it work either way. They could also screw it up either way.
At the time, I hated the brand split because I didn't have cable when I was younger and Smackdown was on UPN so I could watch it. It was clear that Smackdown was the B show. Looking back though, it was better than I remember. That Smackdown roster was incredible with Taker, Angle, Eddie, Benoit, Edge, Mysterious, early Cena, Brock. Plus I never really experienced the HHH reign of terror.

I forgot ab the network special in Toronto in a few weeks. Seems like Ambrose/HHH for the title in the ME is a fun idea
