If WWE doesn't think the two best female wrestlers they've had on the main roster in years are good enough to pull something like that off then they shouldn't have them in a cage to begin with honestly. As I said, there are a good 5 females on Lucha Underground right now who can do that kinda stuff better than most of the men on the WWE roster. If they can't step the game up then they may as well take the ball and go home.

I would hesitate to characterize Charlotte as one of the two best female wrestlers on the main roster. See the above comments about her propensity to botch.

I don't think anyone male or female should be moonsaulting off HIAC. That's just insane. It's insane just a basic jump like Shane did, but a moonsault? lol crazy talk.

It's not going to happen but my God I'm torn. HBK/Taker II was the best ME in Wrestlemania history and my favorite match ever. They could put on a barnburner, but man HBK basically was the equivalent of going Elway/Peyton and winning the Super Bowl in his last game/match. Why take a chance to ruin that?

Exactly right. When I watched that match live, I turned to my buddy at the end and we were both like "we just watched history." AJ doesn't need the rub from HBK at all, and frankly, I'm not sure HBK would be up to it physically.

Yes. If you watch Shane's "jump", he basically leans over and lets himself fall, minimizing his velocity on impact. Doing a moonsault probably triples the force applied to the body.

The idea is so crazy, I wonder if WWE didn't plant it to gin up interest in the match: "will she or won't she moonsault?"

Was watching pieces of the RAW replay. Charlotte botched a taped promo doing her interview with Cole. Call me a hater, but I mean really?

First, Charlotte is the most athletic woman they've had since Lita, and she may be more athletic. She is the second best female wrestler on the main roster behind Sasha and ahead of Bayley and Becky. (Bayley tells better stories in matches, she cannot do the things Charlotte, or even Sasha or Becky does however.)

Second, as you guys seem to be ignoring. Matches of this level of danger get done fairly frequently on other wrestling programs, most notably Lucha Underground, and they even let them fight men. Here, watch the best woman's match in a long time

If you don't let your women fight to the level of talent and athleticism that they have (of which the WWE women currently are as good as they've been, maybe ever) then don't even have them performing. If the stories are true and Sasha and Charlotte looked Vince in the face and said "We can do this move" and Vince had to say no, then it just proves further that HHH needs to take over the main roster and run it as he does NXT.

Also, admittedly I only skimmed through that match, but it was just a street fight with bad camera angles. They climbed to the scaffolding, only to CLIMB back down. I didn't see anything overly great about it.

I think we have to just agree to disagree about Charlotte's ability. She may be physically fit, but she does not have the wrestling technique to pull off even many basic moves, much less something like a moonsault off the top of HIAC. I don't disagree that women wrestlers are capable of pulling off such a move, I just think it would be foolish for Charlotte specifically to attempt it.

I always thought she struggled with botches because she's so much taller than her normal competition, but I just looked it up and she's only billed at 5'10". Sasha's 5'5". I can't figure it out

The Lucha cell looks a lot smaller in size too. How much do they actually do off the top of the Lucha cell anyway? I don't watch a lot anymore
