WWE Thread III

I'm hoping we see a face turn for Bray against the heel Orton at WM.

Did anyone else laugh at the irony of Cena's speech about earning it to Bray. This is about 6 weeks after he shows up after months away and demands a title shot. I've always been a Cena apologist, but his shtick is getting old.

My friend, if you look at Cena as a heel lately it makes it much better. I don't know if they meant to do it but it's so fun

Let's see here:

Cena at the time of demanding a title shot was a 15 time WWE champion and has been the face of WWE for over a decade. Sounds to me like he has the resume to get a title opportunity whenever he wants to.

It's been 3 years since Cena buried Wyatt. Why not grab a microphone and bury him again

It's because Cena is a heel. We just never got the turn because the kids don't know he's turn heel. It's ****ing brilliant.

It does make things more enjoyable if you watch with the understanding that Cena has gone stealth heel. Dead giveaway was when he told the man who just won the freaking ELIMINATION CHAMBER that he didn't deserve his title, and by implication, that he didn't earn it either.

If they are doing this intentionally, I may have to reevaluate my opinion of Raw creative.

So by that logic, Flair or Hogan could walk down that ramp next week and get a title shot immediately.

He hadn't held the strap in years and his last appearance before his exit was SS where he was pinned cleanly by the current (at the time) champion.

I don't know if it was intentional or not, but he absolutely comes off as a heel since his return.

Like you said, it's brilliant if that is what happened. May be a stretch to think this was their intent, though.

Luke Harper >>> Bray Wyatt

Yeah, i said it.

Luke Harper, for his size, is arguably the most athletic and talented guy we've ever seen. He's a legit 6'5-6'6 and 300lbs and he does a better Drop kick than most luchadores.

If he were around in the attitude era, same exact character and all just a dirty looking guy with a huge beard, he would've main evented for a decade. And he still might be main eventing for a while in this modern era where even guys getting cut are talented enough to have been upper mid carders fifteen years ago.

I've heard speculation that it may be Harper vs Wyatt vs Orton at WM. The addition of Harper would improve the match drastically imo.

There haven't been many truly great tag teams, if you think about it. In most cases, at least one of the members went on to have a bigger/better singles career. Midnight Express. RnR Express. LoD. Demolition.
