They did an angle at AXXess where Sanity attacked No Way Jose and now he is questionable for the mix 8 person tag match at Takeover.

Watching Takeover late, and good lord, this tag team match is so fantastic. It blows my mind how much better this match is compared to anything Raw or Smackdown puts on. Those tag divisions put on filler matches, while the NXT teams consistently bring MotY candidates.

NXT thoughts

Ohno being the surprise partner was kinda obvious and I just overthought it.
But can Tye get a win already? Come on now.

I'm glad Asuka retained. Get that scrub Ember Moon out of the empresses's ring! Lol.

Tag team match...what can you say! Anything with DIY and Revival is an instant classic. AOP is pretty legit as well.

Main event was solid. Not the biggest Roode fan but I definitely get his mass appeal.

I think overall this Takeover may only be third to Takeover Dallas and Takeover Brooklyn which may never be dethroned as the best imo.

WM has a lot to outdo and it will most likely fail miserably. But we shall see!

Here's my WM predictions:

WWE Universal Title Match:
-Brock Lesnar vs. Bill Goldberg (c)

Winner: Brock. With Goldberg leaving after this match, the result is Lesnar winning. The only way I see Goldberg keeping the title is if he signs more dates. The over/under on length of time of this match is 2 minutes, and I'm going under.

WWE Title Match:
-Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt (c)

Winner: Bray. This is kind of a tough one, as I could easily see them putting the belt on Randy, but I'll go with Wyatt winning his first big WM match. Should be a pretty good match.

Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match for the Raw Women’s Title:
-Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley (c)

Winner: Charlotte, because HHH's golden children rule, lol. I really have no idea who will win this match.

WWE United States Title Match:
-Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho (c)

Winner: KO. With Y2J leaving very soon, this is an easy pick. Looking forward to this match.

WWE Intercontinental Title Match:
-Baron Corbin vs. Dean Ambrose (c)

Winner: Baron. I really like Ambrose, but he needs to either turn heel or change his character some. It's time to see what Corbin can do with the IC title.

Triple Threat Ladder Match for the Raw Tag Team Titles:
-Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs. Sheamus & Cesaro vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson (c’s)

Winner: Gallows and Anderson. With a lot of people expecting Enzo and Cass to win, this will give the Club even more heat by retaining the titles. I know this is a match not many people have a lot of interest in, but this could be a really good match with the ladder stipulation added.

Smackdown Women’s Title 6 Pack Challenge Match:
-Mickie James vs. Carmella vs. Natalya vs. Becky Lynch vs. Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss (c)

Winner: Naomi. The hometown curse where the wrestler loses in their hometown will be broken for this match.

Non-Sanctioned Match:
-Triple H vs. Seth Rollins

Winner: Rollins. I'm very interested in seeing what all goes on in this match.

-Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker

Winner: Roman. I think it's a 50/50 probability if Reigns turns heel or not. If this is Taker's last match in the WWE, it should main event the show. If it isn't, then no. I think this match will be better than people think it will be.

-John Cena and Nikki Bella vs. The Miz and Maryse

Winner: Cena and Nikki. The build has been very solid, but I'm not sure how good of a match it will be. As far as Cena proposing, I think it will happen.

-Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles

Winner: Styles. There is zero reason for Shane to go over here. This match will eventually lead AJ to move to Raw.

Kickoff Pre-show: WWE Cruiserweight Title Match:
-Austin Aries vs. Neville (c)

Winner: Neville. As interesting as it would be to see Aries win the cruiserweight title, I think Neville needs to hold on to the belt a little bit longer. Even though it's on the pre show, this is a match I'm highly looking forward to watching.

Kick off Pre-show: Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal:

Winner: Braaaaaaaaauuuuun!

I agree, but I'm very skeptical of Corbin's mic skills. I really thought he was the complete package.

Gallows and Anderson are great heels. They are too mean spirited to work in the PG Era though. Their promos make me cringe, but I like them overall and I really think it's just because they can't say what they want to.

moving AJ would really hurt SD. Raw doesn't need anymore top names. They need middle card guys. Let the Ambrose-Corbin loser go over. Let Corbin win, Ambrose defects and you get your Shield reunion. Give SD another top name heel to help it out. Maybe Rusev?

1. I think Balor may come out and even the odds when Joe comes out to help HHH therefore helping Rollins to a victory.

2. Reigns will defeat Taker and there will be no "heel turn" in the traditional sense.

3. Goldberg vs Lesnar will go longer than people think. Not crazy long, but a solid 10 minutes and will probably be boring as hell.

4. Depending on if it's given enough time, Owens vs Jericho should be match of the night. We all know it should be the Universal championship match, it's easily been the best built story in WWE for Mania.

5: Will we see Matt and Jeff at Mania? I'll say no. I think they will be on the following RAW or possibly Smackdown though.
