WWE Thread III

It's amazing the thinking by the WWE brass on Sandow.

The guy was over every time he stepped through the curtains basically no matter what his gimmick was and yet they couldn't find something to keep him on tv.

I'm surprised they didn't release Zach Ryder as well.

Well apparently its already being reported that both Hornswoggle and Zeb Colter will be appearing on a Global Force show June 11 in New Jersey.

Jeff Jarrett making quick moves?

Thsi is what's wrong with WWE. You get punished for getting over if you weren't supposed to. It shouldn't matter who gets over and makes you money but for some reason it does to Vince. Dude is a complete moron. As blunt as it comes.

Give me a break. Dude is a billionaire because he knows the business like no one else. Nobody was buying tickets to see any of those guys.

That logic is pretty flawed imo. Okay WWE is a brand name. It will always have a following no matter what. Very true. But whatever it's worth, it could always be worth more. It honestly should be. No one was buying tickets to see Sandow. Sure. But people would of if they used him correctly. You sell more tickets. The others I don't have an issue with. Sandow though? Completely idiotic decision and shows Vince's stupidity. There's no arguing it really. Vince literally flushes money down the drain sometime because of stubbornness and ego.

Okay it's a little overboard to call him a complete idiot. Cause obviously he's a billionaire. But it's completely fair to say he makes idiotic choices more than most billionaires. He's honestly lucky he's a billionaire at this rate.

Sandow was the most over person in the entire company at one point. He was more over than New Day, Rollins, and was approaching levels of Daniel Bryan overness when he was fighting the Miz as Mizdown.

Vince screwed that one up royally. He just has no clue how to do anything outside of the two or three main archetypes of wrestlers. It's why NXT is so vast and amazing compared to the main Roster, because we have different characters who are allowed to shine and show off how unique they are, and its also what worries me about what Vince is going to do with Balor and Nakamura.

Lol... No, he wasn't.

Well when Mizdow was at his peak he definitely was the most over guy in WWE. New Day were still in their initial face run when people hated them. Rollins just had the MITB case. Brock was just a once every 4 month appearance as champion. Mizdow was the only real reason to watch RAW.

I can't speak for everyone but i certainly didn't tune in to watch Sandow. He was a funny side show but if he wasn't on then it didn't bother me at all.

I also didn't really like Bryan and hated Punk, but i understood their place/importance to the company. Sandow was never close to that.

I ended up being ok with those guys, but it took awhile to get past a couple of 185 lb guys being in the main event picture. I don't really need wrestling to get that close to reality, but I do like it better when it looks plausible.

I thought Punk was overrated, but I liked Bryan. Sandow was over with the fans as both a heel and then a face. He definitely got affected by poor creative writing for him, but never at any point was he the most over in WWE. Not by a long shot.

R Truth is over in his comedic storylines, do yall really think he could main event?
