Definitely, and as I recall, they just turn most of the lights off. I remember the one I went to in Memphis years ago had Kane come out after a commercial break. At least then (and I'm sure it's still the case), you can't hear any commentary, so we had no idea what was about to happen. Kane's explosion hit and I probably turned white.

Nope no commentary. It kind of sucks. I think some form of commentary for fans would help.

I understand the allure of it but we were near the entrance for the roster and near the curtain so we couldn't exactly see and my poor father's left ear is deaf because of Kane 's enterance

1. The lack of a Bad News Barrett shirt at the shop inside TBA totally saddened me and I was highly disappointed. Alas.

2. The biggest surprise of the night is how big of a pop Cena got tonight. That was the best face reaction he has gotten in six months. I'm not sure why but it was interesting. Also, I expected it, but the amount of Cena shirts by kids under the age of 13 and women is astonishing.

3. To the five year old boy with the John Cena doll a couple seats down that stared me down everytime I cheered during the Wyatt promo.......#FollowTheBuzzards

4. Also, I apologize for saying "fake violence" to loudly during the Bo Dallas/Sin Cara match in the row below me. I didn't know your six year old thought it was still real and I actually didn't mean to do that. My apologizes.

5. I did the "I'm afraid I've got some BAAAADDD NEWWWSSS" very loudly and was not ashamed. I also had no problem booing RVD despite his Michigan status.

6. Don't let the pumped in crowd noise fool you. Nobody cared about Adam Rose AT ALL. The "WE...The People" chant got a much louder pop than anything Rose did.

7. I don't want to sound too much like a pig, but Lana's legs in person, even from a distance are incredible. Just incredible. I can't even properly describe it.

8. It was kind of funny how much of a pop Kane got (for those who don't know, he's an East Tennessee guy) even though he's supposed to get mega heel heat. Also, Orton (who was born in Knoxville) got a major pop and Evolution got a huge pop.

9. I don't know how loud it sounded on TV, but when the Shield and Evolution started brawling, TBA went crazy. I was very happy about that.

10. Funniest moment of the night. My teenage sister is a huge Cena mark and hates everything the Wyatt Family does. So a person from the row in front of us had a sheep mask and my sister was talking to me. As she turned around, she saw the sheep mask and jumped about 10 feet in the air. It was quite hilarious.

Overall, a fun experience. I really enjoyed it, especially being with my family. I have one suggestion for WWE that I think would help with fan participation: Do stuff during commercials. It's kind of weird to just sit their for a minute or two with nothing to do and just watch WWE promos for DVD's and what not on the screen.

Glad you had a good time. March was my first Raw in over 10 years. I really enjoyed myself. Can't wait for Elimination Chamber next February.

1. This was my first time going to a WWE event, and it was awesome. Me and my uncle had a blast.

2. Zjc, you shouldn't have left so early. Shortly after the televised portion of Raw ended, Cena came back out and had a match against Bray. He also sang Rocky Top before and after the match.

3. I was also disappointed that there were no BnB shirts being sold. At least I was able to get an awesome Shield shirt.

4. Speaking of the shield, I think they will win this Sunday. Evolution will dissolve and the three will go back to trying to get the world heavyweight champion belt.

1. This was my first RAW since the Nitro vs RAW days.....it was a really good show.

2. R-Truth got a big pop in the non televised match. WHATS UP?

3. Kane's pyro caught me off guard not once but twice!

4. Stephanie McMahon is hott!

5. Big Evolution crowd which is funny cause they dont want to be cheered.

6. I am not a Boliever and his stick is borderline heelish.

7. WE THE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! Adam Rose is a rosedud.

8. Alicia Fox is awesome!

9. Bree and Eva Marie were smoking hott!

10. I decided to get some cokes and my boy some Cena sweatbands during the midget match and ended up missing most of the wyatt family. The line for concessions was horrible!

11. Rusev is huge and I was cheering for Lana.......my wife said its Memorial Day you cant cheer for Russia lol!

12. Sheamus was a lot cooler than I thought......I am a fan.

13. Left after the Sheamus vs Delrio match cause our friends wanted to beat the traffic.......it was funny all the kids were in the concourse hoping to see the Shield.

I always forget how much of a mark town Knoxville is.

Cena is shown on the Titantron? YAY! Bad News Barrett's music hits? Utter indifference.

I enjoyed the show more than my last few Raws I've been to. You could tell it was very much like a Holiday and pre-PPV show in that every thing seemed like they were simply treading water. Everybody just appeared to be going through the motions. I can't blame them given the situation, and I can't really be disappointed by it. If I want to see a bigger show, I'll have to travel and I realize that.

I will say the 'live show' itself has improved a lot since I first went to a broadcast 15 years ago. I can't imagine being at one of the good shows they've had in the last year or so...I imagine it would be absolutely crazy.

Those negatives aside, I do think the product is improving. Even the throwaway matches seem to be worked better than in the past. I was impressed the most by Bray. I've liked the guy, but his promos had started to seem way over-done to me. He did a very good job with his assignment (and worked the Happy Ending dark match just fine).

We had seats on the aisle where the Shield entered. Got a smirk out of Ambrose when I referenced something from Dragon Gate as he walked by. I got a kick out of that.

Bo Dallas is another example (Emma being another good one) of stuff working for NXT's small crowd but having a hard time getting over in a big arena. Plus, I don't think people quite get that his gimmick is supposed to be over the top. Ultimately, I hope they have him get disappointed/angry/jaded and join up with his brother. They could use a 4th body.

I think it would be cool if he joined the family, but this seems like one of those rare occasions where they can get away with not forcing relatives to work together and I kinda like it.

They're in a good spot with him. If his gimmick works, then he can just continue building it. If it flops, its an easy story to tell with him going dark.

I don't think its doomed to flop, honestly. He seems able to pull it off if people will give it a chance, and if they put him in a decent program with some body.

If this is the goal, then they're doing a good job. He just seems like a bad motivational speaker who is out to steal money. I don't know if it was the "first time on Raw" thing, but he just didn't seem like a good talker.

Maybe I'm spoiled with how great his brother is in his gimmick that I want to believe he could be as good in a better gimmick.

Your suppose to hate the gimmick. Just wait til he loses and throws a fit. Then it will click.

Yeah I think it's about like Kurt Angle's original gimmick. It took a bit for the heat to catch on with that one. At first it was like "this is boring" X-Pac heat, then it was like kayfabe "you are annoying me, you suck" heat.

Edit: watching Fox's meltdown, I loved the end where she threw the cans at wedgie guy

Oh I totally get THAT I'm supposed to hate him, I'm unsure what it is about him that I'm supposed to hate. He just comes across a younger version of the speaker in the movie Yes Man: a crook who makes money off of gullible people. I'm saying that I don't know if that's the appearance that they're trying to give him.

I think Bo Dallas is hilarious. I just wish more people got it. Also, I wish Adam Rose would get a better reaction.

I think Bo will play better over time and in larger cities. I watched Raw again last night, his post-match promo was funnier than I remembered. I think its got a shot.

Hell, Knoxville fans were still cheering Orton, Batista, etc while absolutely ignoring BNB, Cesaro and people like that. For argument's sake, let's say the Rumble was in TBA. Batista winning would've probably brought the house down.

You still have a lot of people that can't/won't let go of the types of wrestlers developed in the late 90s thru 2010.

Evolution got such a pop because of Randy Orton being born in Knoxville. Grew up in St Louis though.

The people booed the Wyatts and cheered Cena not because it's a mark town, but because they fully pushed Wyatt into the heel role Monday night by having him mess with Jerry Lawler and having Rowan and Harper take out JBL. Not sure if this was the plan all along, or if creative ditched the idea of bringing out an evil side of Cena. It didn't help things when Bray was referring to himself as a god and that he now has the whole world in his hands. The crowd acted accordingly to the script. Would happen in most other towns save maybe Chicago and a couple of others.

Meh. I see that to a point, but Knoxville always seems to be the marky-est of mark towns.

You're giving a lot of people too much credit if you think they were cheering Orton simply because he was born here.

I am a big evolution fan.........HHH, Orton, and Batista are legends!!! Cena is pretty darn impressive.........these new guys like Cesaro, Bo Dallas, and Adam Rose are lame. Wyatt and Rusev have alot of potential if used right. BNB is allright..........I like a bit of bad news!

I'll grant you some time to evaluate Rose and Bo...but Cesaro????

Cesaro's character is horrible.......the dude cant work a mic and they have got Heyman trying do the mic work for him. His in ring wrestling is ok. I do also like Shamus.....I dont understand why they have the shield and evolution bundled up in a 3 man tag feature when they could instantly up the lower matches my having them split up!

Cesaro is good in the ring, but I have to agree his mic work is no good so far. I would say its because he's young but that's not really the truth and couldn't be used as an excuse anymore anyways.
