Crazy that Arian Foster is in the group with Jamal Lewis and Henry!

Wasn't it Riggs that got hurt in 05', so AF took over and finished as leader vs wreak yr end teams. Very talented skill set w speed problems.

Gets a bad rap for being fumble prone BC every one he ever had was a game changer. UF one was on the QB not him.

06-7 years were excellent, then he looked slow as a turtle on a worse team in 08'. Jumped to NFL training camp and magically found speed. Although reports wetter that he hit the gym like crazy.
Just my recollection.

I'm not saying we are Auburn, but everyone had them picked to finish at the bottom of the SEC last year. So...I never go by those preseason picks/polls.

Last year's Auburn team is absolutely the exception that proves the rule. We're not.

True story here.

I was in miami all week, and I came home to a gift from my wife. This is really unexpected. She stays at home with the kids and I work to pay our bills so she doesn't have money just lying around usually. Last week though, I bought her a new car and Carmax offered us a crappy trade in price on our current car, and my wife declined and decided she could get more for it. I told her if she could get more, i would give her a finders fee of $300. She ended up getting exactly $1400 more for the car than what Carmax offered us. So I gave her the $300 and we used the rest to pay taxes on her new car.

So yeah, yesterday I came home from a work related trip to Miami, where I had been since Tuesday. She asked me what I thought it would be as I was opening it and I honestly had no clue cause random presents are ultra rare. Opened it and saw some UT car decals, and under them was an article of clothing. She got me a white jersey #1 for jalen Hurd.

Boom. Hang on to that woman! But, just in case make sure that Jersey is not the discounted one with "Harris" on the back. ;-)

Your count seems to indicate that was 102...but still close to 100

Just a prediction, but should Hurd remain here for 4 seasons, he will break the U.T. all - time rushing yardage total, currently held by Travis Henry. However; I don't think Hurd will be able to beat Travis Henry on fatherhood.

This. I've been saying this since I've seen him play, but it's been met with criticism. He may do it in 3 if he stays healthy

Not sure exactly what he'll do as a true freshman this year, but having an elite RB can make a huge difference. They can turn short gains into long gains, and shake-off arm tackles and make them into something big. It's been awhile since UT has really had an RB who could do that at a really high level.

This guy hasn't played a down against a college team and y'all are predicting him to break UTs rushing records. Like Maggit, we don't even know if he will be durable enough. We also don't know how this line will play and if our passing game is capable of opening the running game. Slow down

Your probably right for most, BUT a lot of people said that about Jamal Lewis! George Rodgers, and Herschel Walker.

Everyone has us as 12th best in SEC. That doesn't translate to 7 wins. Unless everybody wrong.
Because that can't happen we should just pack it in for this season. Nothing to see here boys!

Naw but I'm looking forward to proving people wrong this season.

Everyone has us as 12th best in SEC. That doesn't translate to 7 wins. Unless everybody wrong.

Every season, the prognosticators get it wrong on at least4 SEC teams.

Last season, Mizzou & Auburn were chosen to be "improved" but nowhere near ready to contend for a conference title. Florida, Georgia and South Carolina were to vie for "Beast in the East."

In the SEC, the difference between great, good, mediocre and terrible is razor thin.

Outside of Kentucky & Vandy, ANY team in the SEC can find itself in the championship game at seasons end.

There will be at least 3 SEC teams (picked in the bottom half of their division) who have a newcomer rise to the top, an old hand emerge from obscurity and catches a couple lucky breaks in key games. This is enough to propel a team to great heights, in the SEC.

Picking who those 3 will be? That's a roll of the dice... AND why being a college football fan in the south is the most fun you can legally have with your clothes on.
