I'll be intersested to see the turnout in St. Louis next week. While it is a Cardinals town first, fans were more pissed about that Rams leaving than many seemed to think, especially once it became clear Kroenke really had little interest in staying there. The city even had a proposal ready that would have met the Rams' stadium demands but Kroenke basically ignored it. I can see St. Louis supporting the BattleHawks well and hoping the NFL notices for a future expansion or relocation.

San Diego would be a good choice, as the Chargers should have never left and the AAF's Fleet were one of the better supported teams.

San Antonio would also be a good choice as far as fan support. The AAF's Commanders had 30K a game. But my guess is that the XFL would avoid them since they already have 2 Texas XFL teams.

Atlanta is probably a target. I don't know how well they'd be supported though. The Falcons, Braves, and Hawks have trouble enough getting fans to show up, even when they're all good. And the AAF's Legends were getting about 10K a game and that's probably being generous.

If they want a team in TN, I'd honestly shoot for Nashville more than I'd shoot for Memphis. The XFL is already going for NFL and former NFL markets. And Memphis seems to always be a go to location for all these football leagues and most don't do all that well. The Showboats back in the USFL did well but that was almost 40 years ago now. The Express did ok but not great. Not to mention Nissan Stadium >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Liberty Bowl, or better yet by the time the expansion happens the Nashville SC stadium may be ready and the Nashville XFL team could play there.

Houston Roughnecks opened the upper deck of the stadium which is a good sign.
Also offering free transportation to the game can only help attendance.

I think the next two NFL expansion teams will be St Louis and San Diego.

It's that for every team, it's almost like they weren't ready for anyone buying any apparel. I went to get a roughnecks shirt and those were all pretty much gone as well.
