XFL 2023

I very much prefer XFL to NFL. Over the last 5-6 years the NFL has become advertising with some football thrown in to draw viewers. Most NFL games feel like exhibitions until the playoffs. XFL packs more football into each broadcast. It’s quality ball too. In general the XFL players seem hungry and appreciative for the opportunity. Several teams seem to have already established a strong bond. NFL definitely has star power edge, but many of those stars are such primadonas, that it’s hard to support them. More times than not XFL players seem to be “team players.” I really hope the XFL puts out a good video game to compete with Madden. Madden, like the NFL, has been corrupted by lack of competition.

Some teams suck (looking at you NY Guardians). Based on all the audio from their sidelines/locker rooms, they have a toxic culture on that team. Gilbride had similar issues in the NFL iirc.

Overall: XFL > NFL

My after week 3 XFL Power Ratings

1) Houston
2) St Louis
3) DC
4) Dallas
5) LA
6) Seattle
7) NY
8) Tampa Bay

Mine was the same as yours except I put New York last. That team is a train wreck and I think their coach will be the first to be fired.

This is mine after week 3

1) Houston
2) St Louis
3) DC
4) Dallas
5) LA
6) Seattle
7) Tampa Bay
8) NY

I wouldn't go that far. I agree the players are "hungry" but they're hungry to get back to the NFL.
