XFL 2023

2 more teams next year wouldn't be that bad. The issue becomes it would add another game each weekend and where do you put that one. My guess is a 5th game would definitely end up on a secondary network like ESPN2.
Would you be for going to a 14 or 16 game schedule if the XFL expands to 10 teams?

I could see them adding 2 games. The biggest thing would be would ESPN and Fox want to commit to more games. Since it would push the season into May I would think they would since there would be less sports on by then. College basketball would be over and Fox's baseball coverage doesn't really ramp up until the summer months and ESPN usually only shows Sunday Night baseball and various prime time games during the week. Saturday sports on ESPN/ABC from May through most of August is mostly NBA and college baseball, and they show CFL games starting in late June through August when college football starts. Considering they now show a ton of College Football spring games I'd think they'd be up for more XFL games.

FYI for anyone that can't get to a TV and/or doesn't have ESPN and/or FS1, if you get on Twitch and search the account pb201, this guy streams every game each week and it's great quality. Games are also on YouTube but I find those get shutdown a lot.

A post in another thread got me thinking. Do you think the XFL will have scouts attending players' pro days around the country? Also, is the NFL combine a closed event, meaning only NFL personnel may be present? If admittance can be purchased, the XFL should send scouts. They could get a peek at prospects if they go undrafted. Just a thought. I'm very curious how they will handle the scouting/talent acquisition aspect of the sport. Probably a question for commissioner Luck I guess.

I'm pretty sure it's not an NFL only event, because the CFL sends scouts as well.
