HH is very young, I have been hard on his game not because I don’t like him just think he is awfully young. But Barnes hung with him today after a series of mistakes and he hung with it and made some good plays. Clearly it was his best game even with a few turnovers and mistakes. He is playing more inside and slowly getting better with overall D. He rebounded well today. The young man is working, he hit a 3 today but he needs to keep playing the 10ft on in game as well. As time and confidence grow the 3 may be part of his game, especially when left wide open. But for now he needs to play like he did today work the mid range and on in game and keep getting better at it. He made a stride today. There will be setbacks but him and Adioo are going to help us down the road. It was a big boost of confidence for HH today. GBO!
I think Barnes has worked BHH into the game at the correct time. Barnes knows what his players can do and he is a master at developing players. I look forward to what this teams can/will be next year. We have the potential to have our best team ever. If, for some reason, Chandler comes back, we will be in the running for a top 4/ 5 season .

Quote from Barnes on BHH…
“You never know when the light comes on for someone. You hope it can happen like that, but it very seldom does. But Brandon in the last couple weeks has been so locked into our scouting reports. I mean, he came in early on his own, wanting to know exactly what he had to do today. And I think most freshmen coming, in their idea of success is scoring, scoring, scoring. I do think Brandon is starting to find out, one, he’s quicker off the floor than you think. He’s got a really good feel for the game and for the ball. The way he got his hands on basketballs. I thought he was key. I’ll tell you one thing we did find. We found a guy that can inbound the ball for us at the end of the game. He was terrific. He came in there and he saw it. He made the plays, which was really, really key. His demeanor was really good. And he’s worked. It goes back to the old adage. The more you put into it, the more you’re going to get out of it. In his case, it’s been more mental than physically. Where he’s really starting to want to learn the game at a high level.”
