Not in this situation. All this crap to lock up a voting base won't mean anything if that voting base becomes the enemy. Obama may be able to lock up some votes while he supports Mexicans, but not nearly as many as he would annihilating a Mexican resistance.

i'm very familiar with "la raza" as it really started to take hold in university of california campuses when i was there during prop 209. they are unquestionably a racist organization and had no qualms complaining about their white overlords. their motto at the time was "defend affirmitive action by any means neccasary."
