I am in favor of reducing all government spending.

Obama increased it by the most in history

LINK?

I am in favor of reducing spending on social services.

Obama doubled food stamp and welfare funding under the recovery act.

Given the economic conditions, that's not surprising, and of course you neglect to mention the extension of unemployment benefits (unless you include that in the "welfare funding")

I am in favor of devoting more resources to effective Homeland Security, including more up to date and much broader no fly lists.

obama wants to cut military spending

Only minimally. The greater interest is in cutting spending on some fo the largesse contracts

I am in favor of either more boots on the ground or generally tighter security at the border with Mexico.

Obama is strongly against hte arizona immigration law

I didn't say I favored that law. I favor tighter border security. Stop them before they come in. After that, I think the issue is considerably murkier.

I am in favor of middle class tax cuts and tax cuts for small business owners, particularly if they show it reflecting increased expansion and hiring.

obama did neither of these and actually raised taxes on many small business owners

I know. I oppose his position on that.

I am opposed to labor union leaders padding their pockets whilst simultaneously selling out their membership and makiing US industry non competitive.

obama gave the unions billions of american money through GM and chrysler and violated 200 years of US bankrupcy law to keep the unions noncompetitive

That's a broad statement, although I overall agree with you that his adminsitration has been too firendly with the union leadership.

I favor policies that increase the US manufacturing base.

obama has instituted no said polices

Obama is not as anti-business as you suggest. And the economy and the markets I think support my statement on that.

At the same time, I would agree that there is much more he could do to imrove the business environment, including first and foremost by reeling in spending.

How is Obama anything but anti-business?

Economic recovery as a proxy for Obama's policies or approach is absurd. He has yet to be able to kill us with taxes, but has foisted upon us serious expenses that we have to pay for somehow.

I get the distinct feleing that if LG listened to any speech by Reagan that his head would expode, releasing tremendous amounts of confetti.

I'd say that the number of my posts attacking the crazed and/or incoherent ramblings of Beck and Palin outnumbers my posts defending or championing Obama policies by about 20 to 1.

Facists to the right of me, commies to the left.

Here I am stuck in the middle with you.

So that makes you a fascio/communist socialist??

At any rate that has to be the dumbest comment I've yet to read on this forum, congratulations.

(doesn't say much for the poster you are interacting with either.)

Not sure who is holding the gun to LG's head "forcing" him to start all of those leftist threads, but please put it down so he can go back to being his "moderate" self.

What I wonder is who is the mod who crams all my threads on diverse topics into a compendium thread and allows ACLG's threads to stand on their own??

C'mon, don't be a coward, fess up!!

How is Obama anything but anti-business?

Here is how:

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole.

This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences.

The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations.

Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

Carrol Quigley, (Tragedy and Hope, 1966) cited by Bubba Clinton in an inaugural speech as being one of his mentors, the only mentor he ever mentioned by name.

"By this means government may secretly and unobserved, confiscate the wealth of the people, and not one man in a million will detect the theft." -- British Lord John Maynard Keynes (the father of 'Keynesian Economics' which our nation now endures) in his book "THE ECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES OF THE PEACE" (1920).

I don't understand why one in a million can't understand it but then I always give too much credit to other peoples intelligence, a good example is your calling Lakin a pos and I think any officer who doesn't stand with Lakin is a pos. It's a matter of living up to the oath.

"The few who understand the system, will either be so interested from it's profits or so dependant on it's favors, that there will be no opposition from that class." -- Rothschild Brothers of London, 1863

"Most Americans have no real understanding of the operation of the international money lenders. The accounts of the Federal Reserve System have never been audited. It operates outside the control of Congress and manipulates the credit of the United States." -- Sen. Barry Goldwater (Rep. AZ)

"Whoever controls the volume of money in any country is absolute master of all industry and commerce." -- James A. Garfield, President of the United States

"To expose a 15 Trillion dollar ripoff of the American people by the stockholders of the 1000 largest corporations over the last 100 years will be a tall order of business." -- Buckminster Fuller

"It is well that the people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning." -- Henry Ford

"The Federal Reserve bank buys government bonds without one penny..." -- Congressman Wright Patman, Congressional Record, Sept 30, 1941

In other words they create money out of thin air to buy treasurey bonds and then we pay back money for bonds, plus interest and do it again and again.

So if this year we have somewhere between 1 and 2 trillion $$$ deficit, that means in the end we are giving between 1 and 2 trillion $$$ to some people who we have given the right to creat money and then to add insult to injury we pay interest on our own money!!!!!

"This [Federal Reserve Act] establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President [Wilson} signs this bill, the invisible government of the monetary power will be legalized....the worst legislative crime of the ages is perpetrated by this banking and currency bill." -- Charles A. Lindbergh, Sr. , 1913

"From now on, depressions will be scientifically created." -- Congressman Charles A. Lindbergh Sr. , 1913

"The financial system has been turned over to the Federal Reserve Board. That Board administers the finance system by authority of a purely profiteering group. The system is Private, conducted for the sole purpose of obtaining the greatest possible profits from the use of other people's money" -- Charles A. Lindbergh Sr., 1923

"The [Federal Reserve Act] as it stands seems to me to open the way to a vast inflation of the currency... I do not like to think that any law can be passed that will make it possible to submerge the gold standard in a flood of irredeemable paper currency." -- Henry Cabot Lodge Sr., 1913

[Note – From 1913 until now inflation of the dollar has been 2950%. A 1913 dollar would now be worth $.034. When I became a wage earner in 1950 I could buy a full breakfast, eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, shortstack, juice, and coffee for $.39. This morning I paid $9.60 for the same, an inflation of 2460%]

"When you or I write a check there must be sufficient funds in our account to cover the check, but when the Federal Reserve writes a check there is no bank deposit on which that check is drawn. When the Federal Reserve writes a check, it is creating money." -- Putting it simply, Boston Federal Reserve Bank

"I have never seen more Senators express discontent with their jobs....I think the major cause is that, deep down in our hearts, we have been accomplices in doing something terrible and unforgivable to our wonderful country. Deep down in our heart, we know that we have given our children a legacy of bankruptcy. We have defrauded our country to get ourselves elected." -- John Danforth (R-Mo)

"Capital must protect itself in every way...Debts must be collected and loans and mortgages foreclosed as soon as possible. When through a process of law the common people have lost their homes, they will be more tractable and more easily governed by the strong arm of the law applied by the central power of leading financiers. People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders. This is well known among our principal men now engaged in forming an imperialism of capitalism to govern the world. By dividing the people we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us except as teachers of the common herd." -- Taken from the Civil Servants' Year Book, "The Organizer" January 1934.

The bolded sentence reminds me of your ignorant exchanges with ACLG the penultimate ignoramous.

ie; a quarel among sheeple.

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a monied aristocracy that has set the government at defiance. The issuing power (of money) should be taken away from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs." -- Thomas Jefferson, U.S. President.

Just what is needed today!!
