You Can Change ONE Play

I would say Murray's TD pass to Wooten late in the 4th quarter. We beat Georgia and possibly be ranked if that play never happened.

Murray was gifted as many attempts as it took. And it took him 6-7. Our D stopped for a good while. I was proud to our team.

Pig's fumble.

Hands down. Beating two top ten teams in October gives Butch and the team huge momentum.

Pigs block in the back against Vandy , when Dobbs scored to put us up by 10

PLEASE stop with this excuse it isn't even relevant. Go back and watch the play again you will see, the defender running towards Dobbs Pig then shoves the defender. Dobbs scores Dobbs was right where the block in the back happened without that he is tackled for a loss. Case Closed.

I would have Rajion Neal fall at the one yard line on the go ahead TD against UGA so that the clock would keep running down and Aaaron Murray wouldn't have 1:30 to drive the field.

Pig's fumble vs Georgia doesn't guarantee us a win.. but that Vandy call at the end of the game did... so that makes this a tough question. I can't help but think If we'd have beat UGA we'd have found a way to beat vandy though. I'd rather have the fumble back I guess... mostly since I was at the game. My first instinct was the Candy call though.

Where can I find a link to the play, because I agreed with the poster. Thought the block in the back was irrelevant to Dobbs scoring. Could be wrong.

Pigs fumbleless TD, called a TD, then overruled by a trigger happy replay crew who did not see the other angle and thus do its due diligence in not overturning a proper on field call.

It was a fumble IMO. It's a bad rule IMO that penalizes a team excessively for fumbling a ball through the end zone. The team has earned its way down the field to score....why do you lose possession of the ball and the other team starts at its 20 which is decent field position?

But I don't think there's any doubt it was a fumble. Can't fault Pig for his effort.

But why would you change the fumble? If he holds on to the ball there and even makes it into the endzone, our defense still has to stop Aaron Murray (who had just torched them, going 70 something yards for a touchdown in the previous drive).

It would make more sense to change a play on the long drive we gave up in the last 2 minutes of the game. If we were able to get a stop or (if we're talking about one play) a turnover, we win the game.

Pigs fumble, and it's not even close.
Arguably the block in the back versus Vandy ices that game. UGA still would have an opportunity to tie even if Howard doesn't fumble. One almost certainly changes a L to a W the other is arguable whether it changes the outcome.

Two for sure changes would be

Vandy game stop them on 4th and one

Georgia game, block their extra point with 5 seconds left in the game that tied it

Not one play, but if could change 1 thing about TN football this year, it would be that Worley would've started every single game injury-free. We would've beat florida and vandy.
