You don't want to watch this team anymore?

Sure because that will help our program. Who the hell would want to come after firing a coach with two winning seasons? That's genius.

Look back to green. He was fired after going to the dance ever year. If you can't coach then you can't coach.

Go get the coach from Butler. Missing 4 free throws in a row down the stretch is inexcusable.

How many years did green get? Yeah....we'll see. I believe zo will pull it all together. Gotta have some faith through all this bs we've been going through.

Get ready to raise the roof next year. That's all I'm trying to say in this thread.

And we hired Buzz Peterson...thanks for proving my point. We will be laughed at if we fire a guy with two winning seasons and wins over ranked teams, especially after the Pearl fiasco. No one will want job.

Haha. I hope this is a joke. Stevens has had offers from everywhere. He is waiting for a big job- no chance at UT.

You'd have to be masochistic to want to watch this team played. That said, I'm going to continue watching, because I want them to succeed. But be realistic. It's not so much fun watching 'em right now.

That was actually a fair comment in my opinion. I was a Butch fan before he came to UT and I do believe he's the answer, but that coaching search was a train wreck. It's hard to argue against that.

Only if u were a Grudenite, or thought we'd get Stoops or Bill Cowher....

The most frustrating part is losing. Losing with bad players and a good coach gives hope. Losing with decent players and bad coaching is the worst.

Ehhhh. Disagree. When you get down to your 5th and 6th options in a coaching search, you probably aren't doing it very well. Just saying.

Even after Gruden had finally said no, there were more to follow. Coaches at mediocre schools told us no. The search was a disaster in general.

And yet, the final product of said search is the right guy, in my opinion.

Sorry mods, this is a basketball forum, I know. I'm done I swear. :)

I am really disappointed in Stokes. I also believe he would do better if DA hall was not out on the floor. Stokes needs to pull up and shoot.

McRae, Moore, Richardson are better than what they were at the first of the year, but Stokes, Trae, and Mcbee have went to s***.

Stokes' body language tells the story. Last year he smiled and played. This year he frowns and rides the pine. Mentally he is in the dumps and his player-coach relationship is in trouble. Is it the player or the coach? Only time will tell.

If you get like me and expect the worst, you'll feel much better and start spending your evenings watching prime time or reading a good book instead of blowing 2 hours of your life on crap.

Fine...just don't try to jump back on the train next year. This team will be LOADED and back on top of the SEC. Some of you dudes are unbelievable. Zo can't go out on the floor and win the game for this team. He has this team headed in the right direction AND bringing in the talent to win. Tip your hat to olpiss and move on.

You thought this team would be a good without Maymon? Some of you dudes need to stfu and support this team and the coach. You could be a bandwagon Arizona fan, maybe?

Tennessee all day, everyday and twice on Sunday's.

Yep, you are right. Zo has this team headed in the right direction and the U.S. economy is headed in the right direction too, right?????

I don't buy the "Maymon" injured stuff. Yes, we would be a better team and MIGHT win some close games that we are losing but Maymon is not the total reason.

Do you realize that Maymon played last season, when we lost to Austin Peay, M.T.S.U. & College of Charleston?

Maymon's presence would help but that is not going to totally fix things.....

if they are to go in the right direction, then the first order of business for Zo is to teach them how to actually shoot the ball in the net, not be careless with the ball and turn it over 20+ times a game, make foul shots, don't be so mentally fragile and fold under pressure, and that would be a good start in the right direction. :hi:
