Garner will also be a major role in dissent, and turmoil on the team.  At least that was a role he played in Knoxville.

Only if the UGA coaches are as jealous of him receiving proper credit as certain individuals at UT, namely the head coach, were. Trooper Taylor would be wise to watch out for the same type of treatment. By the way, how many times have we beaten UGA since Rodney arrived there?

While the last 15 years looks somewhat better, I would just like to focus from 1999 since we had a huge platform to build off of after the NC title....I just focused on UF, UGA, LSU, Bama and Auburn

1999- lost to UF
2000- lost to UF, UGA, LSU
2001- lost to UGA, LSU
2002- lost to UF, UGA, Bama
2003- lost to UGA, Auburn
2004- lost to Auburn twice
2005- lost to UF, UGA and waiting....

So after our NC, we have....

lost 4 out of 7 to UF
lost 5 out of 7 to UGA
lost 1 out of 6 to Bama
lost 2 out of 3 to LSU
lost 3 out of 4 to Auburn

:bad:  except the bama part which is  :good:

Excellent summary... and sadly, it seems to validate my intuition.

While the record against Bama looks pretty good, it's not all that impressive when you consider that Bama's record was 47-40 from 1999 through 2004.

Name one SEC team that is beating all of the other top flight SEC teams consistently.

I don't believe that being unable to list one team who consistently beats ALL of the others in the SEC makes what I posted incorrect.

Perhaps I should have said that Tennessee appears to consistently lose to the top-flight teams (Florida, LSU, Georgia, Auburn) since 1999. Regardless of how you look at it, it's a painful realization.
