You heard it from me first,Titans will lose to Jets

Don't think we could have made up the difference anyway. Jets run that p*%$! dink and dunk offense and got 4-5 yards before we can do anything to stop them on a quick 3 and out.

I don't know if they always run that - or if it was just added this week to negate the Titan's D-line - but it worked.

I kinda think it might have been to pick on carr too. He keeps lining up 10 yards off the wr. Dink and dunk seems like it would easily exploit something like that too.

The Titans D just looked flat all day. Like they really didn't want to be there. The Jets came to play and it showed. On a side note, Jets fans are quite comical in the stands. Hammered well before halftime.

Seriously man?? Don't gloat. EVEN Lou Holtz gets lucky and picks a homer call correctly with ND/Arkansas/South Carolina. Anyone could see this coming. 3 D-line and 3 DBs out. The Titans were beat up. This was not an "upset" and it was not going out on a limb to claim the Jets would win. You're just an blind homer. Get a clue - you don't know anything about the Titans and just made predictions based on how much you love your team - not using your head. That was obvious when you said the Jets defense was the best defense the Titans will have played.

Take the win and and enjoy it. Take of those thick, 3 inch lens, green sunglasses as well.

You dont beleive they where the best d yet? Well maybe thats why the titans didnt get a first down until 2 min left in the second quarter. And scored their first touchdown in the 4th quarter, their only one at that.Whatever,i dont have to argue the point anymore,we won you lost its that simple. And I told you the banged up theory would pop up after a titan loss, and it did. 21 points. I'm out.

The Titans managed a first down on their second possession of the game about halfway through the first quarter.

and a touch down in the 4th when even Collins looked like it was a lost cause after he threw it. Could've been 34-6 easily if the jets didnt play prevent in the 4th quarter.

OK...

Just pointing out that the Titans' first first down of the game occurred somewhat sooner than with two minutes left in the first half.

Well, that was fun. The Titans fans at the stadium were classy all day, I give you guys credit. I didn't expect anything bad, and certainly didn't get any grief. You guys just ran into a rested, hot team at the wrong time and you guys were too banged-up. Plus it's not the right matchup for you right now. You're still a good team who I respect. J! E! T! S! JETS! JETS! JETS!

Add the fact Farve picked on rookie qb with 2 games of experience, less Nick Harper, kind of sealed the deal for the Jets.

You're a complete homer. Wow. Even ESPN and CBS and NBC and Fox AND any other station with half a brain commented on how beat up the Titans were. Its not that they had a lot of injuries - they just had a LOT in a few key positions - they weren't spread out.

The Jets wouldn't of been able to dink and dunk as well with Harper in there all day. It caused us to get beat by the run as well. Please, please, please show me where I said the Titans would have won with out the injuries. Please sir.

You're not even worth debating with if you think the Jet's defense is better than some of the defenses we've faced this year. That's just ignorant and idiotic - and I don't think you're either so I'm just going to assume you're joking with me and giving me a hard time. Jenkins is a good player though.

If you're going to take away the late TD then you take away the long TD near the end as well. We were playing the run and had 10 guys in the box since there was nothing we could do at that point. Once again - just give up football if you're not going to be less dogmatic and try to see things outside your little box you live in.

Look - we all understand you love your team - but be real here... you're a bigger homer than Larry Munson is.

hahaha I think you're a little upset with the loss. Chillout man, youre 10-1,thats better than my 8-3. Like you said I do love my team. Take it easy and put the gun down.:mf_surrender:

Forget it. I'm not that upset about the loss - its just your reaction and responses on here. You also need to change the thread title - I heard this from several people 2-3 weeks ago and I agreed with them - and they weren't Jets homers. Also, even ESPN picked it before you.

I just think its ridiculous and horrible sportsmanship you're trying to play the woulda/coulda/shoulda game and you're a fan of the team that won. It makes it even more bizarre. I just think its ridiculous you're coming on here saying "oh the Jets should have beat the Titans by 50 if not for playing prevent, Brett throwing a pick, and that fumble!" But that's just me - maybe you think that's normal.

There aren't Titans fans saying they coulda won if not for dropped passes, bad execution, fumbles, and out of place defenders on the long TD runs. The game ended how it ended. No need to speculate how much you think the Jets could have won by.

Have fun the rest of the season - but the Jets will get beat in the playoffs if they face a team with two solid corners that can press effectively and guard a TE - IF they play the dink and dunk - I know they aired it out more in some of their other games. I'm pulling for Brett - I like the guy.

Actually yeah the titans fans have used every if and or but in this thread, but you beat them all to it. Atleast we both like UT,and Chuck Webb,he was an awsome back for us.

Reading some previous posts before the game and reading posts after the game are some of the most funny things I have ever read. How many ppl laughed at the though the Jets would come in and dominate the Titans like they did? Where was the furicous D? The gashing running game?

I don't think many level headed Titans were expecting gashing running numbers. Only way that would've happened is if we busted a few long CJ runs. We haven't been running at all lately.

The ferocious D was there... but was completely off-set by Favre's ability to get rid of the ball in under two seconds on nearly every play. It rarely went good for them sunday when he held on to it (with exception of the TD from inside the 5). Also didn't help that our return specialist was our starting CB and Haynesworth can't stay on the field for more than 2 plays at a time.

Not really. I don't see it but I didn't go through this whole thread. Most of the talk about injuries were BEFORE the game and how we had them loaded into a few positions and not spread. But, I didn't see anyone trying to say "we would have one with Nick Harper a healthy KVB, Jason Jones, etc."

Would they have been nice to have? Yep. Enough to win? I doubt it - Jets had a good game plan to keep us off the field.
