Far too early for that, imo. Need to see what he had and where it came from, circumstances, etc., before reaching any conclusions about whether there is a problem that can be addressed.

Seriously? TVA? Gov't appropriated the land for virtually nothing, overspent and is massively inefficient in execution, but lack of alternatives and effective monopoly power made it your poster child. Awesome.

Passed on gun control? Have you lost your mind? He's simply doing it the old school progressive way by circumventing the electorate and going slowly via the idiot heading up Justice. Fortunately, Holder actually makes Joycelyn Elders look competent as a cabinet appointee.

Couldn't you argue this is why people should be allowed to carry guns?

You've lost your mind if you don't believe individuals have given up their guns. You've doubled down if you don't believe the DOJ and liberal elites are bent on finding a way to eliminate groups of weapons without asking the public about it.

I think one consideration is whether the potential existence of an armed moviegoer would have had a deterrent effect on the attack. Granted, a psychopath hell bent on murder may not be deterred by that.

I go to a couple of late shows a week. 50% of the time I have to deal with idiots who bring their toddlers to the show...regardless of the rating or movie content. It is a sign of the times, but disturbing nonetheless.
