up here in the Bluegrass. Total meltdown! The NCAA is biased against UK!...The committee hates Cal!...We have to play the defending champs in the second round!...Of course they out Duke and UK in the regional finals on the 20th anniversary of Laettner's shot!

Conspiracy I tell you!

Truth of the matter is, a loss today was probably healthy for that team. They have had too many close games recently. A loss was just a matter of time. Better now (for them), than in the second round or Sweet Sixteen.

Personally, I'd love to see Western Kentucky win their play-in game and shock the Cats in the first round. It won't happen, but it would be such sweet justice to see after the belly-aching I'm listening to now.

Doesn't matter the closer Kenlucky gets to the final 4 the more Cal will pucker up. He can't X & O his way to a Championship.

My fear is that with this team, he doesn't necessarily have to if they are hitting shots from outside.

Wasn't it you who said Southern Miss wouldn't make the tourney?...tongue in cheek. ;)

I'll be picking UCONN personally, but you're right. UK folks are making way too many assumptions too early.

Kentucky youth will have problems up against a bunch of experienced guys, who play smart, and have a few actual players in the mix. Vandy is exactly the type of team that will give them problems in the tourney.

Losing was the best thing that could happen to Kentucky. Now they know they can be beat, and will fight harder in the tournament. They will go to final four easily

Conspiracys and NCAA hate aside.

If I was a Cat fan, that possible UConn match up in the 2nd round would be a little scary.

UConn may not win that game but its a game where they match up well.

This and Kentucky has trouble against a team that playes a zone D. You can not play Kentucky man to man they have too much talent. Play a zone. Syracuse and Michigan St will give them all they want.

Clearly no one here knows any sensible UK fans. Trust me, 90% of the people I know took the loss well and are happy with the bracket. It's a shame every fan base has it's idiots that think the whole world is against them. I listen to the radio and the show i was listening to was pretty level-headed. They did comment on how it was an interesting 8/9 match-up if Uconn wins.

But it is interesting how Indiana and Uconn are near us and Duke is the 2 seed. Personally, I would love to see Duke and UK battle it out in the Elite 8. I would also love to beat Uconn and Indiana for revenge. Any level headed UK fan knew the NCAA tourney wouldn't be a cake-walk. UK will have a tough road but it can be done.

UK lost to vandie for the SEC tournament championship? Holy cat-burgers...y'all should be shamed beyond reason. What'd be funny if the 'harvard of the south' loses to the real Harvard in the opening round.

They were bound to beat us after 2 losses. They shot pretty well and definitely used prior experience to plan on the defensive side. Maybe in another 60 years they'll win the SEC T again.

I was mostly talking about the host of the show I was listening to at the time. He is a local guy here in Ashland, KY. An absolute UK homer and obvious conspiracy theorist, though he went out of his way numerous times to claim he was neither. His bias and slant was obvious. He even started the show just prior to the release of the bracket by saying, "We're about to see the release of the brackets and just how the committee managed to screw Kentucky this year, as in years' past".

Sorry for you. I hate Kentucky homers just as much as anyone.

I HATE Kentucky .... but yea they got screwed. Love it. UCONN will beat them.

We'll see. I wouldn't be to scared to predict Uconn losing the first game.
