Your Boycott List?

I guess it classifies that i have never nor will i ever have a facebook account. I think its evil and nothing but trouble. In fact i have stopped going to sites where the only way you can comment is through fb.

There's allot of crap on fb, but it's allowed me to reconnect with several old friends from high school and the Air Force that I hadn't seen in over 20 years.

I've had bad service a few times at CB, but enough good ones to even it out. Never had a problem at O'Charley's.

When I was at UT, I would hit the O'Charley's sports grill on Cumberland at least once a week for lunch. I miss that place being there... I quit going to O'Charley's altogether following the outbreak of hepatitis A in 2003 which was later linked to green onions, I think. The one in Turkey Creek was impacted by it. That's a shame, I always liked the food.

It completely ****ed the whole product up. It doesn't belong.

Their Facebook page is lit up with nothing but complaints since they changed it back in 2013. I have no idea why they haven't switched back. It's like they don't even care.

O'Charleys and Cracker Barrel (terrible service and food in multiple locations) - since boycotting Cracker Barrel, I have unfortunately eaten there twice because of business lunches where I had little choice in the matter. Those choosing were not my superiors and I am not their supervisor, but I did not resist out of respect for them. They are good people except for the love of Cracker Barrel.
I've had to do the same thing three times in the past few years after deciding not to eat at any of Tom Morales's eateries when he painted over a mural at Acme because it included a Confederate battle flag and one of his business partners was trying to pander for votes in a failed mayoral campaign. I actually like some of his restaurants for food and atmosphere and one person not showing up isn't going to hurt his business. It just rubbed me the wrong way and reeked of a cheap political stunt. At any rate, I've since followed the herd to Acme once for a "team" lunch with colleagues and I've twice gone to The Southern because I have an annual out-of-town guest/long-time friend who will pout if we don't go there.

Like many here, Starbucks. And way before the refugee issue. Warmed over liquid dog sh** served by a-holes.
K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Whatever-Mart. Wastelands.
Subway. Converted to Jersey Mike’s thanks to their recent marketing campaign, “Good sandwiches, and we don’t rape children.”
KFC. The Colonel bothers me.
Wendy’s. Gingers slice tomatoes all wrong.
Most things Disney. Rodents carry diseases.
And a bunch of others I hate for irrational reasons.

We have a Wendy's in Green Hills and I will go inside to see if the manager is working. If I see him, I will order. Otherwise, I leave. It's like two different establishments depending on whether the boss is there.

Yeah i get that but the way i see it if they are worth being friends ive stayed in contact.

I deployed with different people than were in companies I was assigned to. That's like 200 some people right there and I no longer live near any of them. I also don't live near any of my family, high school or college friends. Fb lets me reconnect with all of them daily in minutes. It's only evil if you don't control who has access to your wall or how you handle yourself personally

Wal-mart : Too many poor people / hoodlums / dredges of society

Almost all fast food.

Then its just some local restaurants that are dumps.

Me too. I cut it out completely in 2009 when I went on a diet. I did not have any of it for about 3 years. I still have not had most since then, which is hard to believe it has been since then. Zaxby's is about the only one I will go to (maybe a couple others I'm not thinking of), but it is in a pinch and if there are no other options.

Other than fast food, Outback Steakhouse and Olive Garden. Can't think of any non-food places.

Yeah, Olive Garden has gone way downhill -- Outback near me went out of business

I still like their food but you can't help but notice that their prices have gone up and their portion sizes have gotten smaller...Not a good combo!

I haven't been to Outback in several years but always liked it.
