I drove through Selmer just this morning coming back from taking my dad to Corinth.

Stop by and see me. I work at "Jim's". I know, that 's the best name ever for a store.

Any region that has names like Skullbone and Bucksnort is definitely suspect when it comes to naming things.

I knew it was bad when I saw an episode of "Family Guy" and the name of the financial institution was "Jim's Bank"

In Mcnairy Co. alone we have the following townships:
Guys
Chewalla
Finger
Forty Forks
Wolfpen
Purdy
and my all-time favorite

That looks like Gary Sinise with a wig.

Thank you. Most all the other women like him, so for only the 4th or 5th time in my life, it's good to be me. The wife really likes it. ;)

The worst name for an establishment that I've ever seen is about 30 minutes north of where I live. It's a bar called "The Twitchin' Monkey". The Twitchin' Monkey is a roadhouse that has 3 rules posted on the front door:

1) No drugs
2) No fighting
3) No Bulls**t

I think that's a good motto for us all . . .

Isn't there a community close to Jack's Creek called Lizard Leap or something like that?

You got me on that one. Is it close to Burnt Church?

I might have missed it, but just thought I would interject that owb looks a lot like, well, now that I think about it, that's just too scary to put on here because there are ladies, and perhaps children, on here!
