Your Memphis Grizzlies Basketball Thread III

I was given a ticket to tonight's game so I'll be there. Bought my ticket for the season opener next Wednesday as well

When I see thunder fans around here, I ask what they thought of the Gary Payton years.

My favorite player of all time, and a top 5 PG IMO Him and Kemp were so much fun, loved me some Detlef too. GP Was a beast on both ends of the floor. Should have beat Chicago but George Karl is a ****ing idiot. End rant lol

Also if Seattle ever gets a team again, I'll drop OKC like a bad habit.

Speculation is that Prince won't start at the 3 and that it's between TA, Lee, and Q-Pon to start at the 2 and 3. I think it's best to start TA and Lee. Q-Pon is not starter material and dude hasn't played in nearly a year.

Spot on my brother :hi:

And regarding what id trade Prince for:

A reduction in ticket prices.

Princes salary divided by the 41 home games and divided by 8,000 seats is $23.50 a seat. I can get down with that.

17. Memphis Grizzlies

This is the highest-ranking court among Southwest Division teams. That division needs some design help, stat.

This is a bit chaotic, with the blue paint, yellow edges, multicolored bear head, and striped letters spelling out “Memphis” and “Grizzlies” on either sideline. But the colors go together, and using Beale Street blue for the 3-point arc and other markings provides some local flavor.

The Grizz, like about half the league’s teams, have opted to leave all four corners blank instead of splashing mini-logos in two of them. That makes for a pristine look, but teams with strong potential alternate logos have made good use of that space. The old Grizz logo, with a bear claw enveloping a basketball, would look nice there.

Smh lol

Vince will get Miller's role from last year. Lee and Allen may be starting but it's pretty much certain that Vince will finish games with either Lee or Allen.

I think we'll show a decent amount of two PG lineups. They're serious about getting conley off ball so it's easier for him to score and they should be.

five with the most minutes will be the three, vince and TA though I do agree

(Assuming health)

Marc Gasol and Joakim Noah are the only centers in the past two seasons with at least 1,000 rebounds and 500 assists.

Zach Randolph had his eighth season in which he averaged at least 15 points and 10 rebounds per game last season. Only Tim Duncan (13), Kevin Garnett (9) and Dwight Howard (9) have more such seasons among active players.

According to NBA.com player tracking data, Mike Conley possessed the ball for 7.4 minutes per game last season (fifth in the NBA). That's more than twice as long as the next Grizzlies player (Nick Calathes, 3.6).
