Your Memphis Grizzlies Basketball Thread III

Yeah pretty much I guess.....

Interesting stat I read earlier on ESPN: Memphis Grizzlies are currently on pace to finish with a record of 82-0, which would be tied for the best record in the history of sports.

Really makes ya think.

Hornacek said he wouldn't be surprised if the Grizzlies finish as Western Conference champions this season. "They've got guys at all the positions. ... They're just a powerful team and they get you in their half-court game and make you grind it out."

We'll need either A. consistent outside shooting or B. someone to knock out the Spurs for us. Cause Pop, maybe the greatest coach in NBA history knows the gameplan to stop us and has the players to execute it. Hopefully Lee and Conley continue to improve from outside and Pondexter/Carter can provide it off the bench.

The 1st 5,000 fans in attendance to ‪#‎MEMvLAL‬ on Nov. 11 at FedExForum will get a Grizz Camo Hat presented by Ashley Furniture in support of Military Salute Night.

Don't look now, but Pops is getting his ass handed to him by the Rockets.

The next scheduled ESPN game featuring the Grizzlies this season is ... well, there isn't one. Memphis won't play on ABC in the spring, or on Christmas Day, either. The Grizzlies have seven scheduled for NBA TV, but only one -- one! -- at home.

Rarely does a team that wins 60 percent of its games over four years get the 76ers treatment when it comes to exposure.

"Nothing new to us," said Zach Randolph. "We're used to it."

It's part of the package when you play this style of basketball. The Grizz aren't exciting to anyone except us Grizz fans. 88-86 type of games don't draw ratings. We're the cool team come playoff time cause everyone watches us and says "oohhh, cool a change of pace from the 110-108 game", but right now? No one cares.

And honestly that's the way I prefer it.
