You got a link? I know for sure, 100% without a doubt, that at one point in time Memphis was ranked #1. Maybe I have the time frame wrong, but I vividly remember seeing it and thinking "and all these 'experts' said Memphis wouldn't even make the playoffs this season with the West being so loaded". Most preseason predictions had Memphis 9th in the West for their end of season standings.

Thrasher, here is the real question. After tonight's win, will they bump up Memphis to #1? GS is currently #1, while Memphis is at #2. I'm not sure when they re-rank teams, but our time at the top could be short lived. As you know, we have a tough stretch of games coming up. We can never seem to beat SA either.

Oh yeah you're absolutely right about ESPN's power rankings. I always use yahoo sports, so that's where the difference lies I imagine. I just don't see us winning all of our next 3 games. I would be surprised if we beat SA tomorrow.
