Jaren gets a bad whistle for sure. He just has to learn not to compound it by immediately doing something dumb which happens sometimes when he is frustrated...

Grizz were incredibly stingy at the “swag pick up”. Stopped by on my way to work and only allowed to grab one item. And you had to spin a wheel to determine what item you got. I got a playoff poster. Last year, I was able to get a poster, a koozie, and a cinch bag.

Not doing that. Core 4 was better suited for playoffs with a slower pace. Won a lot of close games in the regular season and didn’t blow out a lot of teams.

We were gifted a Westbrook less OKC team in the western semis. It was nice to catch that break and capitalize. I’m glad we got that WCF experience when it happened, even if the Spurs exposed them.

This era has a higher ceiling than the core 4 had. Will they reach it? Only if they mature. I have my doubts. But I enjoyed the core 4 teams a lot more. They were more likable.

51 wins wasn’t exactly locking down the 2 seed back in the day either. Not like these guys are winning more games.

The Thunder finished at 50-32 in 2010 and got the 8th seed. I remember the Grizz getting the 5th seed in 2013 with a 56-26 record. They also finished 55-27 in 2015 and got a 5th seed. The west isn’t as top heavy as it used to be and there’s more balance.
