Was hoping you guys took down the Heat last night. Knowing my luck, the Grizz will turn around and beat the Pacers. I prefer the other way around.
Hopefully Gasol is alright. I mean, I'm fine if he's out tonight and returns the next game but I wouldn't want him out tonight at the expense of a serious injury. Only if it's to stay off it until Monday night against the T'wolves.
This game matters to both teams. Pacers want to stay ahead of the Heat for the #1 seed and Grizz want to make the playoffs. They're built similarly. Records may very well be reversed if the Pacers were in the West and Grizz were in the East. You guys would at least be #2 in the East if switched with Indy. Who knows where the Pacers would be. Could be around the Spurs and Thunder or could be around 8th. The Pacers are a good team but so are a lot of teams in the West. Those teams are so close that it takes some luck to remain higher in the seedings. Even the Heat could be anywhere from #1 in the West to closer to the 8th seed. It's easy for the Pacers and Heat to stay atop the East because the East pretty much sucks. It's crapshoot in the west. Certain East teams are getting hot at the right time though. Bulls, Raptors, Nets and yes... Knicks. Kind of hope the Knicks miss the playoffs and the Pacers don't have to play them in the 1st round.
