Not all time, but The Cult was a good little band. At least their Sonic Temple album I thought was really good.

A couple of my older favs that many people don't know: Morphine and the V-Roys. More current bands/artists: Howie Day, Damien Rice, and Lucero.

there was a band that opened for Creed (yeah yeah) called The Virgos. Their lead singer jumped ship to be Creed's bassist and that pretty much was the end of the band, right after the release of their debut album, "The Path of Least Resistance". I became a huge fan and they fell off the face of the earth.

Great riffs and hooks and just a good overall rock sound. Anyone interested should try and find their album, or at least the song "Back To You".

and, before the Creed jokes start, yeah I thought the first cd rocked so I went to see them in concert when they opened their second tour in Atlanta. Creed became crap, but I did discover this band, so it was worth it.

Good call on Morphine Kiddiedoc - that guy was very talented.

My most underated band of all time is NRBQ - they've been around forever, are a blast to see live but never made it out of cult status.

Two excellent choices. I was listening to Morphine a couple of days ago. Good stuff.

Kris Kristofferson is not recognized nearly enough for his song writing.

Have you read about the supposed incident between Kris Kristofferson and Tony Keith? Ethan Hawk wrote that at a Willie Nelson party in 2003 TK told KK to "not play any of that lefty stuff." KK explicitly asked the chicken hawk ever held a gun for his country and that ended it. TK is now all up in arms over it, Ethan Hawk is sticking by his story, but KK claims to not remember the incident.

What was Ethan Hawke doing there?
