says you. A guy thats a homer for the cards. why wont they win the division?

Has Sheets ever stayed healthy? Counsell is not an everyday player and Jenkins is nothing special.

Rickie Weeks is good, Johnny Estrada is good and Sheets is good. However, after that the talent drops.
Suppan and Capuano are serviceable at best.

Predicting the Cards to win a sorry division like the central does not take much thought. The Cubs are the cubs, look good on paper but you know they'll choke. The Reds have 2 good pitchers and then Belisle and Milton. Homer Bailey better be all he's cracked up to be.The Brewers have Sheets and noboby else. The Pirates aren't worth talking about

I know a little about baseball.
Also Lohse is better than milton for the reds. Milton blows. He wont be a starter the entire season.

And the part of the quote in bold is complete bs. All of there starters 2-5 won 10+ games last year and their offense will be much improved this season from last. And i would take Francisco Cordero and the brewers pen over Isringhausen and the cards pen any day.

To each his own. I don't think the Brewers offense will be much better.

Cordero is better than Isringhausen

Jenkins is doing pretty damn good right now from the plate. Do you not think Prince fielder is any good?(if not i question how much about baseball you really know.)

I meant the Phillies getting a winning record. They sucked the first week and a half.

I expected the Phils to be the NL wild card.
eh... if I had to guess id say they will end up right around, probably slightly below .500 this year. But to tell you the truth i dont really know.

I've been hearing about the Brewers being a team to beat in the Central for the last few years. I'll believe it when they actually do it.

Anyone else think the Diamondbacks have a shot in the West this year? I think they have a shot but if not this year, they will win it in the next few years.

They have alot of young guys and Webb is sick.

The Dodgers and Padres will be the top two teams this year, but the DBacks can sneak in this year with Schmidt being hurt and the Padres not getting good starts from the bottom of the rotation.

I think Arizona will finish ahead of San Diego. Once the Dbacks pitching snaps out of their "must load all the bases" funk, it should improve. Then again, the offense must also improve.

San Francisco is not going to win it, that is for sure.

I think it's between the Dbacks, Dodgers, and Padres. I think the Padres will finish third.
