Your top 5 most hated sports teams

well played. Can't believe you've also become a Rangers fan. You stabbed me in the back with the Cowboys thing, now you're just twisting it to make it hurt more. Pretty soon you're going to be flashing the hookem horns sign and I'm gonna just write you off.
I've supported the Rangers as my AL team since I moved out here the first time 14 yrs ago. I never really had a strong AL affiliation before. I still think the AL is tainted baseball because of the DH rule, but that is beyond the scope of the thread. If push comes to shove I would pull for the Cards over them 100%

I'm waiting for Vader to start pulling for the "other UT"
I should ban you both for slander.

College Alma Mater>>>>>>>pro rooting interest

MLB is the one sport where I say it's okay to root for two teams, only given that they are in separate leagues and at least one is not a regular fixture in the postseason. For instance, rooting for the Angels and the Mets is fine. Or in my case, the Mariners and the Cubs. I don't think I'll ever have to worry about them squaring off in the WS in my lifetime.

I'm ok with an AL and a NL team as well, I just can't fathom how someone who seems so levelheaded can make such horrible picks when it comes to sports teams. I like La Russa, I like his attitude and demeanor, even though it ticks a lot of people off. Plus, he guided the A's ship through the glory years of the late 80s and early 90s. I also worked for a minor league affiliate of the Cardinals and therefore I cheer on St Louis in the National League. But I wouldn't even consider them if they ever played the A's.

I despise Clemson's magic rock, purple pants and the entire Clemson fanbase

I hate "Play Like A Champion Today", the gold flake helmets, "Touchdown Jesus", that goofy leprachaun, that ridiculous fight song, "Win one for the Gipper" and anyone that ever wears the navy, green and gold. I will cheer just as loudly for the Lane Kiffin led USC Trojans over Notre Dame as I would for Tennessee for any game not against Alabama or Notre Dame. I've said it many, many times, but I'd cheer on the Al-Qaeda All-Stars over the Irish.

Lots of hate on the board for ND. I started liking them the day we went there in 2005. They have the nicest (bar none) fans I've ever interacted with. As we marched out of the stadium, their fans thanked us for coming and wished us a safe trip home. Their band invites the opposing band (except for SC) to their visitor's band room, where they offer beverages and snacks.
Then there's the history of college football. Just stepping on to that nasty, rough grass was awe-inspiring. The only field that had more meaning to me was Shields-Watkins.

Also, I'm Catholic. So I apparently should have been cheering for them all along.

ND is a a place everyone should go to watch a football game.

I can't stand ND but the trip up there was great because of the history that's on the campus.

I kinda like their fight song, but it ends there. Notre Dame is one of the most over hyped teams I think I've ever seen. It doesn't help that ESPN pays Lou Holtz to squeeze them into every college football discussion he is involved in. News Flash: Notre Dame isn't relevant in the college football world at the moment and should be treated as such.

I used to really hate the domers but they have been insignificant so long that I just don't pay any attention to them. The last time I hated them was when they came to neyland and upset (surprise surprise) the Philip Fulmer led Vols. Another pathetic Fulmer performance.
