My own computer ratings:
1-Texas
2-Texas Tech
3-Florida
4-Utah
5-Alabama
6-Oklahoma
I already checked and if Texas, TT, UF, Bama, and OU all win on Saturday, then, all else equal, it will look like this:
1-Texas
2-Florida
3-Oklahoma
4-Utah
5-Texas Tech
6-Alabama
Two of OU's non-conference opponents, UTC and Washington, are a combined 0-22. I realize that Bama is undefeated, but I think my rankings are more in line with how good the teams actually are.
My prediction: Everybody wins, and Texas is robbed. OU beats Missouri and faces the Gators in Miami. Oregon State beats Oregon to send USC to the Fiesta Bowl to play Texas, thus creating the possibility of a split championship.
Given what is happening in the Big 12 South right now, nobody on TV is going to claim that the regular season functions like a playoff without sounding like an idiot. However, you can bet that if somebody in the Big 12 South gets upset on Saturday, BCS supporters will come out of the woodwork to proclaim that the BCS is "healthy" and successfully sorted everything out.
